Thank you, John! The Bravo Alpha is indeed one of BRK's best designs for a general outdoors knife! I wish I would have made a pre-order for one, but I'm sure they'll make a new run next year. Still, the one I got is very nice looking, only problem is that it's almost too nice to bring with you and use the way a Bravo Alpha should be used. ;)
Yeah this is a beaut! I just received my first bark river knives...the bushcrafter with Ironwood, red liners with mosaic pins! And is such an amazing blade! And in 3V as well! It is a feather stick assassin! Hope your weekend is truly blessed! Thanks for sharing your knife with us! Cheers, Kimmers and Jerbs #22ADAY I'll never quit quitting 👍🏼🔥🔪🔥👍🏼
Great vid, beautiful knife! I know exactly how you mean. I bought one with a desert ironwood burl, black liners & mosaic pins. The burl pattern is absolutely stunning & tbh I’ve never seen a burl patter as nice as the one I got. Definitely a grail knife & don’t want to beat on it. So ordered a green micarta with thick natural liners & pins to use hard. I know it’s a little soon but for now it’s in the running for my favorite knife. Between my TRC apocalypse & Aurora 3. Btw, great idea with that design. You should do a follow up video on that design to show people how good that knife can handle even small outdoor chores with ease considering it’s size. Keep up the good content!
Can you please help me. I am asking you because you have both knives and reviewed both knives. I trust your opinion. if you could only have the fobos legion or the Bark River crusader which one would you take and why I want the knife for woods tasks
That's a pretty tough decision to make. The Legion and the Crusader are very different knives, playing in different leagues. The Legion is a very comfortable, medium sized knife, in CPM-154, which is a stainless steel (and that has both its pros and cons). The tip of the Legion is very fine, which makes it less tough compared to many other knives. On the other hand, the fine tip can be useful for certain tasks. Worth mentioning, is that the Legion has removable handle scales, and I'm personally not a fan of that, which is why I epoxied the actual handle scales AND the screws (I also think that the screws used were not optimal). All in all, I do like my two Legions a lot. I find them to be of good size, with very nice handle ergonomics and the CPM-154 steel has held up great so far. On to the the Crusader ... This is a large, heavy, semi-compact knife in a very tough steel (CPM-3V), that is not as corrosion resistant as the CPM-154 used for the Legion, but still my overall favorite steel. Furthermore, the Crusader is built like a tank, and I'm not worried about using it in the toughest of ways. The interesting thing here, is that you can actually do some nice, finer work with it as well. The downside, however, is ofc that this is a pretty heavy knife to carry around with you. I think that your question is super hard to answer, since the knives are so different in many regards and aspects. I also think you'll have a hard time finding a Legion, whereas the Crusader is readily available at many stores. If you're planning on doing some chopping and tougher tasks, and don't mind the extra weight, then I'd recommend the Crusader. In fact, I wouldn't recommend the Legion at all if you're planning on doing any chopping. The Legion should, however, be able to handle some branching and de-limbing as well as batoning. If I had to stay in the woods for a while, using only one of the two knives, I'd probably go with the Crusader ... but the weight would probably get a bit bothersome after a while.
@@PinkG10 thank you so much and would I actually did was I ended up buying a brand new legion. a gentleman reached out to me in the Bark River boys group and said he had a brand new one that's been sitting in his safe and I must say he gave me it at a very reasonable price considered now they're hard to get like you said. I figured with the crusader being still available in the stores. I would go with the legion first but the crusader is definitely my next purchase. and you're right they are two totally different knives thank you for answering the question though and I appreciate all your points that's why I asked you because your knowledge andunlike most people you actually use your knives and I really appreciate that and it tells in your reviews. I hope to one day every channel as good as yours thank you so much for your help
The bravo Alpha is my favorite of all the bark River knives. It’s the knife to rule them all. Be blessed my friend. John

Do you like 3V better than cruwear?
Yes, I prefer 3V over Cruwear.
👍
Are you sure this isnt the Kephart?
100% sure. The Kephart has a much thinner blade thickness, it's also full height grind and has a different handle-design.
@@PinkG10 I can't seem to find this particular knife anywhere.
Here's one place you can try, not that many in stock though: www.dlttrading.com/bark-river-bravo-alpha
@@PinkG10 Thanks I was searching knivesshipfree.com
@@cburgz3697 I have only seen a few come up on the user's group. So I went in on the pre-order this year.
