- We discovered this tasty, African vegan restaurant, Wasota Vegan Paradise, in Austin serving all of our favorite dishes and more! The portions were huge and so delicious!

I ate at this place for over a decade. The man who owned it was so dear - he would always tell us to enjoy our food and pay after (not typical for a food truck and so trusting). The Wasota platter was amazing. Jollof rice, akara, black eyed peas, stewed greens, fried plantains. I miss it so much.
I’m sad they closed!!!
Oh my god man I miss this place so much I just got mad 😩😂
I'll have a plate or two or three to go.

Im not vegan but I would eat it

@MyCurlyAdventures Awww, man. Where were they located ?
Imagine they had a city full of food just for vegans it would be amazing🤩
India is literally heaven for vegetarians and vegans. There are certain states in India that have heavy restrictions on selling meat and all and i live in one such state , here people by religious means are pure vegetarians. They all eat home cook food.
Any Nigerian will tell you this is a poor man's soup... Egusi worth it's weight contians a generous amount of diced ponmo(cow skin), crayfish/shrimps, smoke/dried fish and sizeable chunk of beef or goat meat sitting on the mountain top 🤩
Mhhhhh lecker 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋
Is this in Austin?
