I finished this game once, back in the day there is no such online guide or video tutorial to guide me through the game. This game was quite simple and direct with a little bit of puzzle. As a boy whenever I felt stuck I just try something different until it work. Maybe that's what make the game back in the day fun, you just dwell into it and try to explore, solve some puzzle, do your own play style and don't get spoiled too much which ruin the game play experince. That's why now, whenever I got into a new game, I just try to play it by myself without guide or spoiler. First game play maybe not perfect, but first impression and experience are the most important, especially if the game story is interesting. Today games are becoming more and more like an online competition, micro transaction, etc, sometime just become too complex and having too much detail and micro management, you forget the fun to play.
This is the kinda game that should get a remaster, not games that are only like 6 years old. I'm not asking for a 4k ground-up recreation in Unreal 5, just better draw distance and smooth out the models
I remember this was one of the very few group of games I gave up on as a kid (coming from a kid who finally beat Jedi Power Battles). This one I just never figured out. Could never get past the “monkeying around” section 1:39:23 . It’s been years but I can’t recall seeing the monkey statue or knowing how to throw coconuts. I saw another user mention this - did the game ever describe how to do this? I remember being like 8 years old asking my mom to look on the internet how to beat this but never could find anything (granted it was like 2005). But thanks for the sweet play through video, now my brain can sleep at night knowing what happens after MONKEYING AROUND.😂
Fun fact the genie was voiced by Dan cantellsa who's also done the voice of earthworm jim earl in cow 🐄 and chicken 🐔 and many characters in the simpsons including homer grandpa abe and krusty the clown 🤡
Captain razoul talks like Pete from Disney's a goofy movie and an extremely goofy movie, nessus/additional voices from Disney's Hercules, and Mr bumpy/Destructo/closet monster from bump in the night
I dont care if its rough around the edges I want my windows 98 back. Along with yo mama osama, maui mallard, atlantis trial by fire, Pajama sam, Jurassic Park dino defender, toy story & this 😭
Bro I meet some emulation help. I can't hear my cutscenes in this game, and I can't get the pyramid level 1 to work. Everytime I spawn in, I got a frozen screen right after the world space loads
There are 53 coins in ancient city level 3 but there is a bug which prevents player to get the last coin. I heard the last coin is somewhere in chasms.
I remember seeing this game in a shop in England. I should have gotten it along with airblade . Also, In some future kingdom hearts game, upon revisiting agrabah again, it would be this kind of scenario from this game.
I nicknamed this game Aladdin 2 1/2 since is after the return of Jafar and before the king of thieves I like Dan Castellaneta as Genie (a great successor of the late Robin Williams)and the rest of cast as well I like this game, some part are difficult (some levels and the carpet bonus level)but is awesome
bro, this ps1 version of the game is on some easy mode type thing. there's a surfing mission at the end of Pyramid 2 mission at 2:32:18 I've played it on the pc version and confirmed it's there when I looked it up. I wonder what else was changed.
