    My bolt has a black plastic spacer on the inside ...why doesn't this have it in the video ?

      If you haven't I would order the new flex face bolt for the DSR. The black spacer is perfectly fine, it was an early gem bolt, but will still function just the same.

      @@DyeTechMatt I've also found this black plastic spacer in a DSR I just purchased. It fell out before I could take note of how it went back together. Is the correct position of this black spacer inside the bolt placed in before the bolt guide? I'm afraid to run any paint through it before I'm certain I've reassembled it correctly. I could not find a diagram including this part anywhere, any advice would be appreciated thank you.

      Yessir put it back inside the bolt and push it in when you put the bolt back together with the reaction rod

    I get a leak out of the trigger guard every time I air it up, but when I shoot it goes away. Will It cause long term damage?

    • @DyeTechMatt
      @DyeTechMatt  5 лет назад

      Long term probably not. However its a bad oring that is sealing properly after all the air is released and airing it back up again. Cycling it seals it from movement and the lube. Where is it leaking from.

    Not that there’s an issue with it but can you put an M2 feed neck on the dsr?

      I wouldn't try it. Could possibly damage the threads.

    I don’t understand. When you say “it is spring assisted. You can just give it a couple pushes.” Mine DSR does not work like that. You can’t push the bolt down. It feels like a rock. No movement when pushing the bolt face backwards. Am I missing something?

      Hi Matthew. Please double check that you have a spring in the rear of the bolt. On page 13 of the owners manual dyedsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/DSR-OwnerManual.pdf When you remove the reaction cage (4) from the bolt guild (3) there should be a spring (7) the presses into the reaction stabilizer (6).

      I have the same problem but I have the upgraded parts to it the spring for the back button is what also makes the tension on the rod but the bolt doesn’t have enough space to actually move back anymore for the spring to move with it.
