So..... the aliens were just a bunch of neck beards who learned how to speak common from anime’s and cartoons?...... gross, and Unnecessary since they’d need to learn other words in common to do that.........
Some are really friendly people I just started playing the game 2 days ago and first thing that happened a hi lvl guy came and gave me weapons and ammo good weapons at that along with some armor
Noticed a little something interesting recently while at Tanagra Town. There is a line that describes the beast of Tanagra, "his face black, his eyes red." At 26:08 you can see a big metal box with brain fungus on it beside the wooden crate there. The bottom left side of the box is open and inside is a black teddy bear with red eyes.
I love the parallels between the Star Trek story & the way that players in-game have been communicating using the found notes and holotapes- in a recent article (can’t remember where I read it but it was a gaming site), the author talked about how they gave some food and water to a low-level player and the player dropped a note in return- the note detailed the personal account of an in-game character who was having a very hard time finding food, and perfectly conveyed the struggle for new characters to survive & the gratitude the player felt for their help. Edit: holotapes, not holograms lol
Maybe you should try doing what the alien captain did and recreate the story. You and another player not in your group should spend the night there by a fire. See if it triggers an event.
Maybe it'll be like a Wild Wasteland event? If it does trigger an event, that'd be very cool. Maybe it'll be the location of a boss fight in a future DLC.
@@D.Jay. maybe with the new scouts update later on..since the little boy you try to find at the water park was part of the scouts and learned to make traps etc
Temba Wide-Arms is an NPC in TES5 Skyrim. Not likely relevant to the puzzle, but the guy that abducted Piccard kept saying it. Bethesdas' strange obsession with this episode of Star Trek.
Darmok on the ocean. Gilad on the ocean. Darmok at Tanagra. Gilad at Tanagra. The beast of Tanagra. His face black, his eyes red! The battle of Tanagra. Darmok and Gilad at Tanagra. Darmok and Gilad on the ocean.
Ox, I just thought of something about Fallout 76. When I last played, I hit a few of the major locations. At each, I noticed a bowler hat had been left near the fast travel point. Quite a few also had suspenders and slacks left nearby. I think some developers may be tuning in to your lore videos and noticed your unique outfit. They left your clothes near every local that the put lore into. They’re calling you!
Datamining results below.... Here's what I've found; will self-delete this if asked. retrace my steps in cell 48,3 if xEditing The keypad objects have no references to anything that would open them. This all revolves around world persistent 003D71FA 'WrhsDoorSmMetal01OPQ' which has the (cell temporary) keypads and a red button tied to it. I can't remember if I saw them or not... if there are a bunch of computer consoles and hospital equipment nearby, then that explains them, otherwise they're in that room. There's also a cardboard cutout alien nearby somewhere, same cell (48,3). Says something, that does. So does the static drop of a recipe for Enclave Mk5 underarmor. The "What have I done" note is ENB_MireLab_WhatHaveIDone, the ENB prefix leading me to believe this is an Enclave related storyline, as most other things ENB are at Whitespring Bunker. "MireLab". Going to have to keep digging on this one... since REFRs have XYZ pos data I could always make a pointmap and see what's up, but that's labor-of-love intense work....
The lab may be on the other side of the security door. I have read accounts from players that have clipped into it that the have found the room mostly empty, but with a lot of lab equipment, chemistry stations and the like. Could we be dealing with an enclave research lab that accidentally created the strangler vines? (And awoke the Interloper?)
@@oxhorn ... probably so. Something related to the blown-up section in the science wing, there's dialog/tapes on that which have so far not appeared, and with the internal coding and the fact that there are three classes of alien NPC in the game data, something's coming. Ever notice that the NIRA staff all took off for parts remote with their families shortly before the bombs fell? NIRadioAstronomy?
@@oxhorn I found it. There's a Mire lab terminal with a three-man lab team out investigating... well, everything. One man starts mumbling in his sleep about what the plants want him to do next. They request a transfer back to HQ for him; it's the residential wings that are destroyed in the bunker. I'm not sure if this quest will be enabled or not, but if it does then I think the strangler heart in the mine will be a little more sprightly, until you kill it.

As soon as I heard the name, I immediately thought of that episode. Defenitely one of the best of the series. It does see to fit in the game as an apt metaphor.
Well here’s multiple theories then: The story is of two strangers meeting on an island and bonding together, becoming friends. What if this riddle is of Harold and Bob AND The Interloper and the man that is being absorbed by the Interloper? What if the creature that bonded with Harold is the same creature that has bonded with that man seen as “the conduit” for the Interloper? What if because of Harold’s FEV and his goul-ifcation the creature, named Bob, was somehow pacified and didn’t harm humans? But now it was Harold who could summon people to him instead of the creature. What if the man couldn’t pacify the Interloper and the Interloper went from being merrily plant life, and became the more man than tree? The man though doesn’t want to harm humans because now he hears the true purpose of the interloper, so he strains the Interloper’s growth by creating new vines. The vine of the bog. He has been fighting the Interloper for a long time, thus the abundance of vines and the floating city. Maybe there were a bunch of creatures like Bob and the Interloper released into the nuclear land after the bombs AT THE SAME TIME. Bob is from the first games, and the Third, but 76 is only 25 years after bombs, so it could be possible that multiple creatures were released, but because of Harold’s goul form and the FEV, it took longer for Bob to grow than The Interloper. The story of Tanagra is a warning about the multiple creatures that were strangers, on a island, this one being a sea of radiation, bonding, but not becoming friends, thus the horrors of the Interloper. My main reason for this is because there had to be some intelligent creature in control of those vines in order to create such a staircase. Maybe the man is trying to destroy the metal statue of Tanagra, thus it allows players to find it with a staircase. Maybe the statues give the creature that created the Interloper and Bob power? Or maybe they are anchors into our realm for the creature. Maybe when the bombs dropped, the creature was able to open portals into our realm and release its “children.” That when its children feed, it can feed. That it tries to reach out into our realm and gain strength from worship and sacrifice. Maybe the creature will die without its anchors, and that’s why the man wants to destroy them because he was tricked and is now horrified by the creature he sees as the creator. Maybe the creature will die from a lack of worship and could see into our realm’s future and made itself bigger with cults and stuff to prepare for the oncoming war. That it was gaining more strength to open portals through the statues to release Bob and the Interloper and others. Maybe the statues, because they are just faces, are the creatures eyes into our realm? As for the statue in Fallout 4, it could be that there wasn’t a creature released in Boston, or that it was drowned, or that the Institute found it and killed it or captured it, but it died without a human host. These are just some ideas I have, and I’m not even done with the video yet 🤣 I’m at 16:18 currently But tell me what you think of any of my ideas. Are there parts where I’m misinformed? Or do you agree? Maybe you have something to add to it?
While I think your first theory is a lot more solid, about it heavily linking to DLC Content and a fight with the Interloper at some stage in the future, it might be a bit more simple. It could be that they decided to put the easter egg reference to Star Trek TNG to attempt to inject some humour into the game, as they did with a crashed Starfleet TNG era Shuttlecraft in Fallout 2, and that there really wasn't much more to it that a pop-culture reference. That being said, it is possible by extending the theme of "Darmok", as a core of the story was not just building a friendship through a mutual struggle, but learning to communicate with someone who at one time you may have been hostile to... as while Picard is on the planet, Riker on the Enterprise is increasingly having to consider attacking the ship to try and rescue the captain. Despite this tension obviously growing, it's Picard having been able to form a base of communication by relating the story of Darmok & Jalad at Tanagra to the Epic of Gilgamesh, who explains what happened to Dathon and disolves the tension. Expanding on this, it might be a sign that in a future DLC we gain the ability to communicate with and possibly become allies with non-human factions such as the Super Mutants. We've already seen a non-hostile Super Mutant trader in 76, and even after tjhe Black Isle games where most Super Mutants have been "dumb dumbs", we still see some like Strong, Uncle Leo, Fawkes and Erikson. So it could be that you're right about a battle uniting factions, but it wouldn't make sense of it to be other players like the Scorchbeast Queen fights, as there's nothing stopping us doing that now. Ghouls are all Feral in the game (unless they introduce some who survived the massacre at the Chemical Plant), and the Scorched are possessed, leaving either Super Mutants or the possibility of Deathclaws regaining the ability to talk, as options. Just a theory though, and somewhat reliant on that Holotape the Overseer left about how mistrust destroyed the BOS, Free States and Responders.
Firstly,Please Tell me about The Massacer at the Chemical Plant. Secondly,Death Claws don't regain lost Intelligence, since Probably already gained from the Mutations.Deathclaws Originate from Some Sort of Chameleon or something Similar. They have Not lost any Intelligence. However,it is Very plausible, even Possible that there would Come a Small Family or Tribe of Talking Deathclaws into the Game through DLC,as Deathclaws have been known to be able to Develop Humanlike Levels of Intelligence.
@@enderkatze6129 I don't want to spoil it for you, but basically it relates to the Quest "Tracking Unknowns" which you can pick up from the gate terminal at Harpers Ferry, basically it ties together some of the notes you find across Appalachia referencing people changing and being welcomed to a new community. It also explains why you find feral ghouls but not non-feral ones during a holotape found at Dyer Chemical. Fair enough on the Deathclaws, just out of everything in Fallout 76, they were the only other group I could see talking and forming an alliance outside of Super Mutants, or as I said, any off-shoot survivors from the Chemical Plant
It could also be one of the cripids. Since the cult of the interloper is an off shoot of the cult of the mothman you could have to team with him. Lore shows that the mothman never came to harm people but to warn of impending doom. That would explain the clipped note mentioned above.
I agree These are my theories as to what this could all mean: The story is of two strangers meeting on an island and bonding together, becoming friends. Fake Namerton we keep hearing about all of this possible dlc stuff like the vaults and this keypad, but Bethesda has yet to release or even preview any future plans.
@@rockerroller They've released a roadmap of their plans like two weeks ago. They even have dates of when the updates are coming. March 12 is the next update.
Michael Free I see you have read the guide. I have found out many things from there, like useful info. Aliens, like the Star Admiral are supposedly spawning at a rare rate around the map.
So say Darmok and Jalad are "you and I," and this Beast is something that we are here to fight and find a common ground with one another. Honestly, my thoughts on it are very very grand-scheme-esque, and the minute Ox said "you and I," and "beast," and "common ground," I pictured the beast was the goal of rebuilding Appalachia...of building West Virginia. Because it definitely is one beast, isn't it? :'D
As of Patch 7 there is a Keycard located under the Tri-fold American Flag on the small ledge in that house with the Moonshine still on the third floor.
I remember waiting with bated breath for this video back when 76 came out. Now, 4 years after it was finally released, I'm back as I explore Tanagra all over again after a year break from the game.
I was thinking about the tanagra story and the interloper when I thaught that maybe this hints to the raiders and settlers will have to work together to kill or some how take care of the interloper
lol it's pretty sad that I feel this way but after Oxhorn took the time to highlight a reference to one of my fav TNG episodes found within the game, I might have to rethink my decision to give up on FO76... You win this round Bethesda
The main issue I had with that episode is how do you develop technology like starships with a language that only references historical events and folklore. Imagine trying to teach algebra like that, especially if you're the 1st person to come up with the concept.
@@iloveyourunclebob It probably would be possible for day-to-day things, but it just seems like they would need some sort of base literal language to develop the kind of advanced technologies needed to become a spacefaring civilization.
Actually, there's a small justification for the bird cage (at least, to me) now: Who says that the cave where the metal face is wasn`t being mined for it? Still, if this Interloper being is as big as Harold was (remember Harold, the half tree guy?), I would be really afraid that it reached it's ultimate form. I think that even Liberty Prime would have it hard fighting against it.
Perhaps it is the result of being set so far in the past of the other Fallout games, but I would hazard a guess that perhaps the Interloper doesn't become some sort of Titan-sized monster roving the Wasteland for the sole fact that we don't see it in Fallout 3 or Fallout 4. Much like the Scorched Plague, which would have easily decimated post-Great War society, something must happen in Fallout 76 that contains the Interloper. Or perhaps that's not even the Interloper's goal? There has to also be something to the fact that the Lovecraftian horror parts with the Pillar in the Dunwich Building, the giant metal heads, and the Interloper never show up on the West Coast of the Wasteland United States. I realize the easy answer is that Bethesda loves Lovecraft (Oblivion has an entire town that's just basically "Shadow Over Innsmouth" and Skyrim has tons of references as well), but perhaps there is a lore-friendly reason.
@@roetheboat1 but still, Lovecraft has written about Titan-like monsters, such Ctulthu (Did I spell it right?). And yes, this might not be the case for an epic Giant monster-robot fight, it does leave a slim door open for one in the future, since there had been many world locations related to these metal faces. I agree that they might not even related to each other and that they are particular "beings" common to their zone. But I believe they are evil (as they can brainwash people), they are powerful (those faces came in form for an unknown purpose) and they won't settle down for possesing mere humans, since their evil influence has spread on the surroundings and ergo, it wouldn't be impossible that at least one of these creatures reached a colossus-like form. Then again, I have an itch to see Liberty Prime fighting something of its own size.
I have good memories of this place me and my friend went here to explore. My friend fell off and died while I almost fell and caught myself on a ledge I slowly worked my way back to the main path and then ran from the glowing fog crawler.
Probably not, the supernatural has always been in Fallout and both Fallout 3 and 4 have a bunch of Lovecraftian content. Like the Dark Heart of Blackhall manor and the Dunwich building in Fallout 3, plus Dunwich Borers in Fallout 4.
Joshua Hicks too bad he diddnt describe the episode correctly. He blatantly changed aspects of the episode to fit what he was trying to say. The children of tamara was the races name The children of tamara blocked communications. Not the planet. The point was for them to defeat that predator looking dude
I've only heard that 63 was the source of the mole miners and vault 94 was the GECK gone wrong. Didn't hear nothing about 96 myself though. All speculation.

Dear Oxhorn. My best hint is, that the barn only opens with a DLC. A DLC which also gave you acess to vault 94 where the G.E.C.K was activated as an experiment or for mistake. The GECK made the red roots grow under the city and lifted it into the sky as you found it. This theory is referenced by two notes. The obe you found on top by the student who returned and the second one i found was in a ruined house in the swap near the city. This note was written by someone who has to left his house because of the strong growth of the roots. With great appreciation for your work sincerely your fan from italy. Manuel
Thank you so much for this video. I saw one early one that used this location as an exemple that "Bethesda didn't care" because he didn't find any of the connections you did. On top of that he didn't even bother to get to the top of the house to reach the bobblehead, the corpse and the magazine, so he wrongly concluded that the only content for this location was the silly note.
I don’t think Star Trek has to do with the riddle at Tanagra, rather a hint towards the plot of Tanagra. Rather than fighting a conventional “beast” they are fighting an influence or a force “beastly” in nature. Or perhaps the beast is the mega sloth you faced early in the video, considering this game is meant to be played co-op. Edit: Perhaps the door has something to do with DLC content.
When this game came out, and a month after playing and finding that stone head inside...I was already getting excited with the idea of what Oxhorn would say about it. Nothing else meant more to me than hearing him speak of this place, I waited so long that I forgot, but I'm glad I remembered now and that he indeed delivered what I knew he would some day. Thank you so much
Oxhorn My guess is the easter egg at 10:15 is a nod to Brook from One Piece. The pumpkin is a center piece object used else where. Here the flowers represent his afro. The cream is a reference to how he is shown in the show using milk to repair his broken bones and become stronger. The fertilizer is a reference to how when meeting Brook, Luffy asks if he poops, to which he confirms this.
Oxhorn’s deductive reasoning blows my mind. Had no idea about the Star Trek Reference and how this whole location could be a big riddle. Shows that there are still writers in the dark corners of Bethesda Game Studios who care about the lore. Thank you Osborn!
i think that Darmok and Jalad allegory is meant to represent the entire game where the player is Picard, and Bethesda is the alien captain they leave you with clues all over the game, in the hopes that you will like Bethesda as a company
I'm sure a lot of people have mentioned the character Temba Wide-Arm from Skyrim. I'd also point out that she asks the player for bear hides. She asks you to give her something. Which is what Temba, his arms wide means.
There is always the possibility that the keypad simply isn't powered. Think about it: All explorable buildings with keypads, doors, terminals, etc, have a backup fusion generator. I didn't see any generators.
I'm thinking you need another Player(not in your group) to do something at the top of Tanagratown, this will activate the Keypad and allow the other person to open the door. Climbing the path, it splits, one path there's TWO stacks of Cash. Could it be as simple as that? Does the Game track if you GIVE an Item to another Player(besides the Inventory transfer of course).
The keypad is a bug now fixed with the latest update and if you watch the new trailer there appears to be several sub levels underneath T/Town so this strongly hints at a big dlc later
When I found it and the notes and scribblings on the walls I remembered the star trek episode... I went offline to watch it again to refresh my memory and then went into town to search... my best guess at that time was that it was supposed to be tied to the main story and a hint at the scorched queen which you have to beat with others... but that doesn't tie in the metal face in the tunnel... nor does it explain the need for that warehouse with the keypad... The keypad doesn't work since it's not powered and I found no way to power it... even thought about trying to build my camp there and using a power radiant thingy right next to the keypad.... but haven't done it yet
I find it so fitting that not even oxhorn can get 2 minutes into his video before showcasing massive glitches in those game. He just shot a glowing fog crawler 3 times with a railgun and it didnt even flinch. Gotta love that immersion
I feel like this place is a reference to the strangler heart event or a metaphor for the survivors have to band together to fight a common enemy "the scorched" and the beast "the scorchbeast queen"
The only alternative I can think of is that the Interloper is the “friend” you’ll work with and the beast is something yet to be discovered or something the Interloper determines, itself, to be a common threat. But the “Didn’t want to hurt them” note points more toward Ox’s first theory. Excited about this one, I hope they don’t screw it up. It’d be cool if they added NPCs for this.
I’ve found some people on reddit taking about it. It seems they’ve seen the inside by going camera mode and glitching inside the room. Apparently there’s a work bench and some stuff inside no one has yet to find a key or anything to unlock the door though. Awesome video thanks man!!!
You arrive at Tanagra. The Interloper is already at Tanagra. Plus at the beginning you said a high level BEAST spawns... You are Darmok, the Interloper is Jalad. I think they're telling us the Interloper may mot be as bad was what we think it is.
Ox was motivated to do this video because of the Star Trek reference >.> This was super interesting! Loved the vid. Well I was thinking the same, definitely some future dlc, but what if the key is not necessarily in Tanagra? What if it's on another area of the map, I was going to say that somewhere that may be connected to the Interloper but you already explored those areas, so I'm not sure there is one, maybe we should just wait. ( I haven't played 76 in a couple of months but if I recall correctly there was a vault that was locked, and people are still waiting for it to open because there is no way to open it , no key, so maybe it's something like that)
I actually explored Tanagra Town, but because I’ve never watched that Star Trek episode (I’m literally just learning about it now), whatever reference it was trying to make was lost on me. ... Clever bastards...
I was exploring this place in the middle of the night. Right as I got to the very top, someone launched a nuke, and it detonated in the distance, framed perfectly by two mountains. It was such a cool view, couldn't have asked for a better shot.
Tanagra town then lucky mine? maybe Lucky mine has code? or another location with Metal faces? Story line to send you there? sigh... If I find out I'll message back? I'd appreciate you letting me know a 3rd location for Metal head. - if one exists.
The "darmok + jalad with the flower" and the drawings of the "flower and ABCD puppies" may refer to there being a future plan to be able to go to tanargra town to gain a dog follower maybe that's what you find in the locked building puppies. That's just a theory tho even tho it would be awesome
This actually echoes the boarded up cave in the south of the map just north of vault 96 and Lake Eloise. You can see items inside through the cracks in the boards, but there's nothing to activate to get inside. Weapons and explosives won't affect it. Like the locked door here, I suspect it's there for some later DLC. (If you haven't spotted it, go to vault 96 and follow the cliff face at the same elevation as the vault entrance to the north-east (right as you face the vault.) On the map you will be north of both the lake and the vault and almost exactly the same distance from both.)
Two wastelanders meet in the mire, Darmok + Jalad, together they work in order to climb the landmark held by vines and through the experience become friends. the Beast doesn't necessarily need to be a literal beast it's just an allegory for a challenge or obstacle, the climb up and through the rock fits this description. Darmok could have slain the beast on their own but they don't have to.
I think you need to rewatch darmok. The children of tamara caused the communications to not work. Remember they polarized the atmosphere. They prevented the shuttle from reaching picard. The whole point was for them to defeat that predator looking dude
Bethesda finally revealed what is behind the door. I explored it in a live stream here: ruclips.net/video/QlsZPB5Y-Z8/видео.html

Also maybe gift the stranger a knife?

@@oxhorn ... probably so. Something related to the blown-up section in the science wing, there's dialog/tapes on that which have so far not appeared, and with the internal coding and the fact that there are three classes of alien NPC in the game data, something's coming.

As soon as I heard the name, I immediately thought of that episode. Defenitely one of the best of the series. It does see to fit in the game as an apt metaphor.
perhaps it's as simple as the Devs wanting fans to come together to create a theory about Tanagra Town?
Well here’s multiple theories then:
The story is of two strangers meeting on an island and bonding together, becoming friends.
These are just some ideas I have, and I’m not even done with the video yet 🤣

DARMOK AND JALAD AT TANAGRA!!
im convinced that will be future content like the president wing in the enclave bunker and for now the keypad is locked
But reddit and RUclips comments told me the game is dead and dlcs won't be released.
You’re correct, the keypad is now accessible after the latest update.
A16AdamWalker Wait, what happened at what chemical plant?
That would explain the clipped note mentioned above.

we do have this type of communication now, memes. You can have an entire conversation using memes and the other person will most likely understand.
Deez nuts, you know what I mean?
@@iloveyourunclebob It probably would be possible for day-to-day things, but it just seems like they would need some sort of base literal language to develop the kind of advanced technologies needed to become a spacefaring civilization.
Simple theory, you are supposed to do this with another player. Like if there's two people at the keypad it'll activate...
Interloper vs. Liberty Prime is something that I’d pay money to see.
I have good memories of this place me and my friend went here to explore. My friend fell off and died while I almost fell and caught myself on a ledge I slowly worked my way back to the main path and then ran from the glowing fog crawler.
More Evidence this "Divergent" of Fallout's Timeline is the Lovecraftian Apocalypse Timeline??
R Guillaume I was thinking the same
I see what you're doing Todd!

Probably not, the supernatural has always been in Fallout and both Fallout 3 and 4 have a bunch of Lovecraftian content. Like the Dark Heart of Blackhall manor and the Dunwich building in Fallout 3, plus Dunwich Borers in Fallout 4.

DARMOK AND JALAD AT TANAGRA.
SHAKA, WHEN THE WALLS FALL
I don’t think Star Trek has to do with the riddle at Tanagra, rather a hint towards the plot of Tanagra. Rather than fighting a conventional “beast” they are fighting an influence or a force “beastly” in nature.
Or perhaps the beast is the mega sloth you faced early in the video, considering this game is meant to be played co-op.
Edit: Perhaps the door has something to do with DLC content.

My guess is the easter egg at 10:15 is a nod to Brook from One Piece.

This video actually shined some light on a Skyrim character for me, named Temba Wide-Arms
That crazy moment you realize that the NPC Temba Wide Arm from Skyrim is also a reference to this episode.
Tanagra town sounds really cool so they can turn it into an event
I said that

Thank you so much! I finally understand the Star Trek episode. It was so confusing to me until now.
I like Ox's explanation for the barn locked door way better than the actual revaluation that Ox found yesterday.. Huge let down..
Oh man, that was a deep dive. This is why I love your lore videos and Bethesda's ambient story telling. Keep it up Ox!
Meanwhile at Bethesda, Dev 1 to Dev 2, have you just seen Ox's video? I thought YOU was supposed to finish that riddle before release!
Oxhorn: i'm trying to snap a pic of that corpse over in that crate but it just wont
Me:*backing up from my PC*
I could listen to Ox talk about Star Trek episodes for about as long as I've spent watching the episodes themselves.
My good ol' boi Picard. That's one of the best episodes of TNG and I'm happy to see such a big reference here in F76.
Did you get the second half key to the Nuka Quantum paintjob plan up there?
The first half of the key is in a bathroom booth at the Nuka cola plant...
Hey ox regarding the screenshot mode I do believe it has no clip enabled, and if not you could try taking a screenshot at the entrance and zooming out
Tanagra when the walls fell...
I think the door leads to a mine. And youre right its probly coming in a later release.
This is literally one of the best episodes in star trek TNG!
Imagine if we found good old Herbert the living tree at the top of the town haha
The Trekkie in me absolutely loved this video
The answer is.........
Find out on the next episode of oxhorn ball z
Ok...
...
For some reason the way he said "I can do it by myself, I don't need you" cracked me up XD Love your work Ox!
There is perhaps something you are missing, go to Watoga, and, look, up.
Ox was motivated to do this video because of the Star Trek reference >.>
This was super interesting!
( I haven't played 76 in a couple of months but if I recall correctly there was a vault that was locked, and people are still waiting for it to open because there is no way to open it , no key, so maybe it's something like that)
What song at 6:11?
I actually explored Tanagra Town, but because I’ve never watched that Star Trek episode (I’m literally just learning about it now), whatever reference it was trying to make was lost on me.
...
Clever bastards...
I was exploring this place in the middle of the night. Right as I got to the very top, someone launched a nuke, and it detonated in the distance, framed perfectly by two mountains. It was such a cool view, couldn't have asked for a better shot.
The high-level creature that spawns below is a reference to the Beast of Tanagra: the common enemy that Darmok and Jalad fought!
It might be a DLC
I love this place, I think it's design and concept is really creative!
Devs get deep in their lore writing. Lmao
Love the star trek reference to figure our a lore story.
You make the best vids Oxhorn
I think you need to rewatch darmok. The children of tamara caused the communications to not work. Remember they polarized the atmosphere. They prevented the shuttle from reaching picard.
The whole point was for them to defeat that predator looking dude
