    Great to see you are forming an exercise habit. Whether you are isolated, you need to train inside due to some environmental factor or it’s just your preference, hop on your exercise equipment, turn on the video and follow the built-in timer. This week we are going to follow the coastal road of Ali’I Drive, Kona, Hawaii.
    Week 3: All 3 runs at Kona, Hawaii.
    Warm up: brisk 5-minute walking.
    Activity: 2 repetitions
    1 ½ minutes easy paced running
    1 ½ minutes of recovery walking
    3 minutes easy paced running
    3 minutes of recovery walking
    Cool Down: easy 5-minute walking

    Hi, I'm Michael. I'm an average runner (in his mid 50s) that has had many injuries and illness that have forced me to recommence my fitness journey; sometimes years later! I’ve made these videos as I have completed many C25K runs during my last two rehabilitations using the treadmill or elliptical.
    ** IMPORTANT POINTS ***
    The RUNNING PHASES throughout the entire program are at an EASY PACE. If you finish each repetition out of breath and don’t believe you can carry on you are running too fast. Initially it may be just over a walking pace.
    The RECOVERY WALKS are just that; they are the periods to rest before the next repetition.
    Treadmill setting: set the incline to 1% from day one to closer equate to outdoor running.

      Well done! Hawaii finished and you’re on to Mon Repos Conservation area Australia. This is one of favorite places to get away from life. One week to go and you change to three different videos per week.

      Well done cracking through week 3. Perhaps the resorts and coastline at Kona held your attention. The program centres around finding that ‘comfortable’ pace which builds your aerobic fitness which you appear to be going. I’m glad your enjoying the series and achieving your goals.
