Don't apologize. This is your strength as a composer. Many people, like me, are drawn to sad music, not because we want to be sad, but because we are responding to a basic emotion inherent in all of us. Only by recognizing this emotion can we truly appreciate uplifting emotions such as hope and joy. This is the Yin and Yang of life. Just write what you feel. Your music does all of us a service. Thankyou.
Thank you Robert for your comment. I understand very well what you are writing to me. Of course, the apology was also intended as a bit of fun. But I've always been more attracted to sad music. I'm happy when I manage to express these feelings with the guitar. If it resonates with others, then that is a special joy and an enrichment.

Yes, this piece is actually the continuation of "Summer Prelude". I felt so comfortable in the key of D minor, that I went on playing. But then it took a little longer. I really had to practise this piece, until it sounded fluent with my rusty fingers.
And so it became "October Melancholy".
