Yea sure they can. We go as far down as -17 degrees celcius in the winter. They can tolerate lots of rain, but relitively. What do you refer to as alot?
Hi Connor, The Meatmaster sheep is an impressive composite cross from the Damara! While the Damara offers hardiness and adaptability, the Meatmaster was selectively bred to keep these traits and add even more benefits: better carcass quality, extra meat, more milk production, and faster growth. It’s a top choice for farmers looking for resilience plus productivity.
Chop is part maize that they throw away from the sifting the meal. A bit courser and cheeper. It gets seen as waste. The recipe is 400kg Alfalfa/Lucerne 200kg SS200 Voermol and 400kg chop or maize meal.
That might be your opinion. In fact, the breed came second in over 20 breed comparisons for - Tastiest meat, softest meat with the sheer blade test, least amount of goat aroma... So Proof is in the facts ;)
Thank you. Some of them escape with a ship to Hungária, Ungarn. 😘
Can Meatmaster survive in rainy cold weather, all the places I see it, It is in hot weather.
