who ever keeps this chase alive deserves a foreman...
Whoever keeps this Wilson alive deserves a House.
@@anthonymendez1997 whoever keeps this plant alive.... aww sods!!
Holyyyyy 😂
Who gets Westphalia and Flanders?
its never Houpus
"You lied to a patient" Chase is like yeah huh?
🤥 🤣
"We did everything House would do."
"You lied to a patient."
Did Foreman just show up to the hospital yesterday?
I feel this should be a short
Funny thing is, Forman probably lied to the patient that Chase would be off the case in order to not press charges. Then leaves chase on the case but in the shadows.
You know the funny thing chase was born in my birthday the actor Jesse Spencer February
Chase: We've done everything House would have done if he'd been here
Foreman: You lied to a patient!
Chase: [the most brilliantly acted 'yeah did I stutter' look I've ever seen]
"I literally just said we've done everything House would have done, are you deaf?"
He even looked like House when he made that look!!
"Yes, everything House would do"
Tomato, tomahto
“Didn’t I just say that?”
1:11 I love how Chase looks surprised at Foreman as he's describing exactly what they've been doing this whole time hahaha.
He was like "yeah? Is that not normal?"
"You lied to a patient!"
"Duh, I work for House. You did too, remember?"
It's just comedy as Chase acts like House and Foreman acts like Cuddy while they are both new to this and unaware to be acting as their spiritual parents would.
"yeah brotha, we also broke into his crib and cased his joint from his stash maaaaaan"
Everybody lies!
Chase was always meant to be House 2.0. The more damage he suffers, the more pain he goes through the more House he becomes
He looks like a younger house. Could easily play a son.
You'd think Foreman would take House's place but that becomes nonsense when he becomes Dean of Medicine at PPTH.
@@AL3X1KUS im glad Foreman got to be dean of the hospital, he's more beaurocratic and more honest, he should be running the show. Chase knows more than enough at the end of the show to know when to take risks and break the rules, exactly why he becomes House. Foreman was always Cuddy 2.0 on House's shoulder.
They were always going to make Chase the next House. He has been under his tutilage the longest, has had more "gotcha" moments then anyone else, and yeah, the more he's around house, the more prominent his features as a younger house comes true
@@imthemetalguy1 I felt like House always tried to make Chase better than himself as the “prodigal son” however the more Chase stuck around the more miserable he became
Chase looks so jaded compared to season 1, he is House
I thought everyone knew that because the House room changed name to him in the last EP.
Foreman was the ideal successor for Cuddy, Chase was the best successor for House. Period.
Foreman is a terrible successor for Cuddy. He is extremely ambitious , so it fits him in that sense, but that’s about it.
Foreman lacks diplomatic skill. He is proud, cocky, self-confident. He lacks finesse , can be rude to patients, he breaks the rules if he believes it’s right… He also sabotaged his career multiple times by doing dangerous and illegal things. Logically, he shouldn’t even be qualified for Cuddy’s job.
Sounds kinda similar to another character, isn’t it?)
If we define House’s successor as a person most similar to House, it’s Foreman, not even close.
-Extremely smart and has been with House long enough to adopt a lot of his skills and views (fits both Foreman and Chase)
- Proud, arrogant, borderline unlikable at times
-Authoratharian, extremely opinionated
- Extreme, ready to do insane things. They all did things like that under house but Foreman more than anyone showed his ability to defy rules and authority because he believed he was right, and sabotaged his career in the process - just like House.
- Alone, basically married to his work. Fits Chase too, and it’s one of the themes of the show - what they do takes it’s toll on them, it’s hard to make a family when you practically live at work. However, Foreman is much more of a loner type, who will probably be alone forever. I think House himself said something to the effect of “Cameron will find someone, Chase will find ten someones, and you’ll be alone”
@@alexr7595 thank you. They played up the "Foreman is just like House" angle to death sometimes with even Chase noticing Foreman doesn't wear his white coat like House (when Foreman rejoined the team in season 5) and later in season 6 Foreman dubbed himself "Genius 2.0" after House quit medicine following his release from Mayfield.
Foreman was closer to House IMO. Similar personalities despite Foreman not wanting to admit it.
I always interpreted his original 3 hires as Chase is who House wants to be and Foreman was more who he was and Cameron was who he never could be.
'You lied to a patient!' Chase reacts! Full House transition is complete.
Chase's expression when Foreman says "You lied to a patient" just brings me so much joy.
@Kaine sucks to be you.
@Kaine They said it brought joy to _them,_ not you. Don't worry! Nobody's accusing you of having fun. 🙄
Chase was my favorite fellow on the show. He really grew on me. In the first season, I hated him as he was the rich entitled kid who got House’s fellowship because of his dad. He was a traitor in ratting House out to Vogler later on. However, I was empathetic for him after, “The Mistake”. Ever since then, I liked him. Of all the characters outside of Kutner, Chase was the most like House.
How was Kutner like House?
@@MuzzyBarker Kutner was all in favor for attempting radical ideas even if the downside of it would be disastrous, much like House. Throughout the series, House took experimental rat medicine that’s never been in the human body, attempted to excise tumors from his leg, violated a patient’s DNR, attempted to put continuous stress on a heart until it exploded to detect an infection, and that’s just a few of some of the asinine things that he did. Kutner electrocuted himself, set a patient on fire, and peed on House’s chair for context. No other character came even close to House’s insanity, not even Chase, but after Kutner it would be Chase.
@@anthonymendez1997 yea and the fact that he killed himself really grew on house
It turned out he got the job because his dad didn't want him to get it. House thought it was interesting and hired him
He didn't know his father made that call, he just knew on this episode, although it was mention on season 1 when Cameron asks why she was hired and House says that Chase got a place because his father made a phone call, Foreman has a criminal record and on her case because he needed a woman on the team.
I would watch a spin off with chase . Love his personality !!
He's too busy playing fireman
@@romulusnr he’s not busy playing fireman anymore. He left Chicago fire.
@@watchreport his character died or something right?

This is the moment Chase became Heisenberg
Everyone in the cinema was silent...
Which is exactly how cinemas normally are but somehow pointing that out makes it more impressive
Chase: " We've done everything House would've. "
Foreman: " YOU LIED TO A PATIENT. "
Chase: "Duh?"
Everybody lies.
Look as much as I would love to see chase and co back again, let's be honest: it's the right call not rebooting the show with chase as house. Either it's very similar to the original, which would get boring and inevitably fall short; or it would be mixed up somehow, likely ignoring quite a bit of previous character development and be a completely different show, which is the opposite of what everyone seems to want
but a mini series could work
Mini series where we see house have some peace in his older age would be nice maybe just living in some country helping peolle while relaxing
That would be a sequel, not a reboot.
OR, you introduce a new team under Chase who has been at it for a few years. He has House’s intellect, yet throughout the episodes either has struggles with his internal integrity, or just has a slightly different way of going about a house/ Chase diagnosis. I don’t think anything about that would be wrong. New cast, new diseases, new methods, YET, Chase holds down the fort by being, without question, the “new house”
Ok hear me out: a well written house sequel featuring Chase as the new house, foreman as the new cuddly, bring back taub and some of houses old staff, and a surprise return of Martha Masters 😱
@@SmearCampaignsAreEvil I think this would make an awesome sequel movie type thing. Kinda how Donwton Abbey did theirs
no
masters was quite possibly the most annoying character of the series
@@Pablo_Arnold I agree, this would be nice but it has to be a short series of at the very most, 12 episodes of an hour each. enough time to get an overview of how chase does in house's seat, see some of house's fate after wilson's death or maybe even see it directly.
@@SmearCampaignsAreEvil How would he get in the hospital?
Love how he has House's hair cut.
I’d definitely watch a spinoff/sequel show with chase as the lead role.
Chase MD. with Foreman as Administrator, Adams in ER, Taub as department head of some department related to Plastic Surgery or something And Chi park being only old remaining member in New diagnostic team... I think we have a new set of Cast.
He's a little too busy leading a squad in the Chicago fire department now.
@@misterbin00 he left the show
Or at least a film with House killing 13, flashbacks about Wilson death. And House ending in a nice place, maybe taking Wilson pension and being a doctor somewhere.
@@MsSopla Thirteen isn't old enough to die at Huntington. when the show ended, she still didn't have any serious or visible symptom.
Chase had the same relationship with his father that House had with his. House saw himself in Chase. That is why Chase was hired.
Also Chase somehow has a wicked depth of knowledge, him and Cameron were a great team, she was wicked smart and her empathy kept house in check, and Chase grounded..
The show was more about people interacting together, and using their strength to balance each other weakness' ..
@@planegaperAnd both House and Chase gives Cameron something to lean on, fight for and also gives her structure to separate herself from her past. Kinda like burying yourself in your work.
@@planegaper Cameron was not "empathetic". She was a covert narcissist.
Everything she did, was aimed at how it made her feel. She did not care about anyone else. She was the only person who existed. Everyone else, was just a tool to help her achieve her goals. She manipulated everyone around her.
The ‘Fine’ Chase does at 1:22 sounds so much like House you could close your eyes and not tell the difference
Precisely lol
One of my favorite Chase moments was also with the Photophobia girl and House was in pain. But also one of my favourite scenes was on episode House's head on the bus taking the drugs for Parkinson's
Foreman: "You lied to a patient!"
Chase: "You act like this is the first time we've done that"
Jesse Spencer is 45 years old this year which is also Hugh Laurie age when he starting House back then. I guess we can start Chase Md.😂😂
Plus he’s not coming back to Chicago Fire long term it’s the perfect time 👀
We need a Chase MD series change my mind
No, because he wouldn't have a "Wilson" with him 😥
@@nextlvlroy The next Wilson for him should be 13, they had a pretty good relationship with each other
Actors are too old
@@yossarian00 Jesse Spencer is the exact age Hugh Laurie was when he started House
for me it was the moment he saved the little girl from getting her limbs cut off.
This is the exact moment Chase became Housenberg.
I never noticed chase is response when Forman told him he was of the case, it’s very house tho. Then the rest of the dialogue on top 😮
Foreman was a better doctor than Chase early on, but he didn't grow. Chase became a significantly better doctor than Foremen ever could be.
Chase also ended up with 4 specialties by the end of the show. Foreman became an administrator.
Chase and foreman would easily make a good duo for a sequel, hopefully they can get taub and thirteen on board
I swear i cant watch these clips without wanting to watch the whole episode
You should make a compilation of all the times house lost his composure like the falling building and the girl when cuddy was appointed guardian
I wish they would have done a follow-up spinoff series with Foreman as the new Cuddy, and Chase being the new House. That would have rocked. And we would need to pick a new Wilson... perhaps 13...
Park
Also whoever keeps ths channel alive should get a raise
Who’s gonna be Chase’s Wilson?
That's an excellent question
Not sure. 🤔
Cameron ?
Park.
@@JackThorSO TRUE THEY ARE BESTIES
If we don't count kutner, chase is the one who found and save the most patients, also he can be a jerk, think like house but is not exactly like house so I like how little by little he took house department, everyone on his team had a great ending: foreman like power, respect and always put his work before anything so having a demanding job as cuddy is perfect, Cameron love saving people, patients, she is really smart so ending ER chief where she can diagnosed when someone has something more is perfect also having a husband and a child like house predictions is right for her. It just make sense for me and it was a perfect ending.
I mean, 1:12 is a very good House moment in and of itself.
My favorite moment.
the first ever episode kinda foreshadowed chase becoming house
It would have been cool if we could have seen a much younger house who behaved a lot like early chase. Would have really driven the point home
The main difference between Chase and House, apart from the bum leg, is that Chase was good at picking up women
House always had ladies over his house. In fact, House was constantly surrounded by women. Remember when House was able to get dozens of women for Chase' bachelor party.
@@catherinewilliams9680 Let me amend: House was good at paying his dates.
@@covidiotseverywhere2179 He never paid his wife to be his wife.
@@covidiotseverywhere2179 And he wooed Stacy and Cuddy, both were beautiful and successful.
@@catherinewilliams9680 Just a citizenship for Dominica. She left right after she got it. See, I am not saying he is not a charmer. House has been able to charm Stacy, Cuddy, even Cameron. But Chase could pick up multiple women simultaneously. He even crushed the speed dating round... There's no competition. The guy picked up a nun... Doesn't get better than that
Chase was my favorite fellow on House's team. He really grew on me. In Season 1, he came across as the privileged conceited white kid who got House's fellowship because of his dad. He went behind House's back when Vogler was around, but my view on him changed during, "The Mistake". I actually felt bad for him then and I started to admire him. Of all the characters on the show, outside of Kutner, Chase was the most like House.
Someone has to play the villain. Always. It happens in every job. You lead? You are the villain

Sarcoidosis is the show’s go-to diagnosis.

@@fwwff3460 It's never lupus.
Summary of this show:
Doctor: I'm quitting
House: No, you're not
Doctor: Yes, I am
Doctor: Actually, no.
In this case though, chase actually did quit. This episode was his last appearance until the finale (granted this episode was only 3 or so episodes before the finale but still)
Thanks for keeping this alive
As much as I love Chase, I still think Kutner was a better problem solver. I mean granted he obviously can't be the next House anymore, but he was super great while he was on the show.
Kutner was good, but Chase was just as good, and for a hell of a lot longer.
It's funny because Kutner initially seemed a lot dumber. Especially during the competition for the fellowship. Really grew on me the more we got to see him.
It's Lupus.

Maybe a decade from now after all the current-day "entertainment" nonsense is burnt down to dust, then a Chase spin-off would be a nice entry to keep up with and continue the legacy of House.
Reboot time? Chase as House and Foreman as Cuddy.
Foreman could have been House, they even shared a moment in the first season
Kinda of a weird thing, but I remember nearly every scene in 99% of House episodes, yet I have no recollection whatsoever of this episode lol.
This episode is called “Post-Mortem”.

When the doctors are incapable of their own
Chase killed a dictator on purpose
I don't mind Chase becoming the "new House", but there's a few problems with this development:
1. House has never intentionally hurt (or killed, in Chase's case) a patient, I mean, there was that whole dream about him splitting a patient in half with a robot surgeon, but it was fantasy.
2. Other than this season's last few episodes, Chase was never been shown "acting like House", sure he's figured out some cases that House couldn't, but so as pretty much every other member in House's team.
3. They didn't develop it further, imagine Chase having his own series, they tease this at the end with Chase getting his own office and team, but that's it.
your first point is HUGELY arguable. there is the babies pandemic case where House chose to condemn to death one of the babies in hopes of saving the others. there is the case of the child who doesn't feel pain, House toys with her and really wanted to do a biopsy on her brain. there's the case of the father waking up of a 10 year coma, didn't House killed him to get his (heart i think?) for his son. those are the ones on top of my head ... there should be others
@@alexanderlevi9558 Yeah, but House discussed having the babies take different medicines with Cuddy and the hospital lawyer he didn't do it just out of sheer disdain to a baby, the case with the girl with CIPA, okay, fair point, but here's the thing, House didn't do the nerve biopsy in the end, he was talked down by Wilson, Chase wasn't talked down even when Cameron told him that they should do their duty as doctors regardless of politics, as for the man in a 10 year coma, he wasn't his patient, are all of these morally questionable? Sure they are, especially to a doctor, but again, House did not act in any of them because of his emotions, like Chase did.
didn't House induce an attack or reaction or seizure of some kind out of stacy's husband?
@@iRazenrak Not because House hated him, it was because Stacy begged him to save her husband.
@@610Hobbies your second point is also debatable. Other than house (117) Chase has by far the most correct diagnosis (20) of the entire cast. Next after him is ambiguous cases where the diagnosis can't be attributed to any specific character (13 of those) followed of foreman and 13, who both have 9 cases solved.
We need a hospital homicide show that's dominated by protocols, not human doctors.
Maybe just me but I never like character Jessica Adams. She's only there just to argue.
She was worse than Cameron tbh.
@National Socialism wow you really didn't understand the first 3 seasons then lmao
Chase spinoff...
Were they setting up a spin off with this episode?
Is that Azrael from Lucifer?
This season was a travesty 🙃
I would love a mini series with Chase being the lead. Maybe 1 season, in the end House showing up somewhere saying he's finally better than him, not only as a doctor, but as a person. Maybe return Cameron and letting them finally be together since he has gotten over what House couldn't.
Finishing it up nicely with the picture of the old gang together on Chase's desk. It might be cringe, but I'm a sucker for happy endings.
when did forman become boss ?
Season 8 when the actress Lisa Edelstein didn't return.
Never liked Adams reminds me of Cameron
Chase's good looking totally faded away , he is not handasome anymor, and he got so old, chase in season 1 and 2 is hot
Forman was always House’s true heir. He even had multi-season arc struggling with being “like House”. As well as actually doing House’s job on multiple occasions, when his license was suspended.
Unfortunately, they had to use him to replace Cuddy as the new boss, even though it didn’t really make sense - Forman lacks any political ability, he’s cocky and extremely opinionated, and compromised his career multiple times because of that. But alas, they did it.
I suppose Chase M.D. is the next best thing.
Hell nah, chase had more lightbulb moments than any other doctor. His character development from house's lackey to his own man was great and he doesnt have to be like house to be his heir. Foreman's last years under house consisted of him getting constantly trashed and humbled by house infront of the new team while chase was shown respect. House never respected foreman's self preservatory nature while he admired chase's growing care about patients(the kid mickey, the nun) and this transition's climax was the nod house and chase shared when chase came back for the last time without his cane.
Sure foreman was house's favorite at first but he grew to care for chase more and finally acknowledge his potential.
Don't forget that Foreman was unemployable for him breaking protocol in that pharmaceutical trial in season five.
