Nice to see a single soft tap and the winners let go, don't argue, don't try to cheat, and the winners also let go carefully to not hurt anymore, that's class...
I don't know much about BJJ. Is this a common thing, or do people usually push things too far?
It's taught from day one to tap when you know you're done in BJJ. It's for your own safety. No one feels victory in injuring another player, and there's great risk in this sport. There are occasional competitors who just don't give up, and some don't realize when they're going out (blacking out), but I wouldn't say it's common.
thanks for the clarification. seems way different and more respectable than mma then. i never knew that.
@@jamesbradford1153 Basically the higher the level the more you start seing guys that have a lot of flexibility and resistance to chokes so they really tap late, an effect of that is that at these levels when they have a sub they really go hard but they mostly know they're not tapping anyone otherwise. Then you have insane people like some gracies that just don't tap, they're nuts.
Juan Carlos Cañón Mercado the heal Jiujitiero
The Arm bar from Keenan Cornelius at 3:20 is honestly insanely done. From the lapel like this, just, woaw that’s beautiful.
I came to this video expecting to see 22 different submissions instead I learned 22 different ways to do an ezekiel
Tears of joy wet my eyes. God, I love Jiu-Jitsu.
4:59 how she just slipped herself into that triangle. such a beautiful transition.
0:43 “ are you not entertained! “
its so inspiring to see the best guys in the world doing the exact same stuff that i do, the only difference is that they do it much better
Any man can throw a Punch's. It's practicing that same punch hundreds of thousands time's.
Mix Martial Arts certainly the UFC, The crowd doesn't appreciate the complexity of the ground game"
I'm waiting for someone like Khabib having André Galvão submission game"
BJJ competitors seem to have a lot of respect for one another.
B Cor it’s how BJJ Is taught, where ever you go you’ll be taught to tap when you need to so you don’t hurt your self and you don’t learn any of these techniques to beat up people, it’s basically to defend your self without ever needing to actually use it
You're taught to respect people even in loss. You learn from losing, not winning.
B Cor it’s not the UFC
You also know that the one you submitted, could submit you the next time and martial arts are built on respect there are always exceptions but they are really a few
Go watch Jake Shields vs AJ
The girls at the end hugged hard after the tap. So beautiful
OMG, I have watched this at least 8 times since it was released. Never gets old.
Funny thing about BJJ: There are so many different levels of skill. You can be a really, really good black belt but when you face a guy like Lepri or Malfacine... you will, for sure, be tossed around like a doll and be submitted from positions you didn't even know existed. These dudes are simply amazing.
Frederico Pereira my coach explained it best: white to brown - everyone is around the same skill level. Black is a whole other thing
I get it but from white to brown there are
a few different levels as well... any legit brown belt should be able to easily handle any white belt or blue for what it matters... but still... there are many different levels in black belt, mostly due to the fact that a lot of them just simply stop training and learning once they get it...
Frederico Pereira nah I meant like brown vs brown or blue vs Blue , they'd be around the same level hahah. Brown should most definitely destroy a blue if they are indeed legit. But like for black, the skill level gap just widens
Kaiza22 ahahahah oh ok now I understand! Yes, agreed!
Lepri is on another level. The dude's insane!!
Gotta love Flograppling, nice compilation and music.
A lot of ezekiels!
Oreo Carlton I like Ezekiel bread
Oreo Carlton Ezekiel and or straight ankle
That simple stuff gets us every time
I'm a fan of this choke... my fingers aren't though lol
Aleksei Oleinik would be proud! 👍
That last submission looked like she was trying to solve a rubix cube.
was missing the last piece
Looked painful too once she entered the right combo!
That was ludecrious. Why didn't she just choke her or armbar?
@@dorindao stamp
Bitched it with the wrist-lock
That was a slick back take from mount by Xande. The other guy was trying to trap and roll and Xande lured him into thinking he had it then moved the opposite direction and took the back.
Just amazing! Great video guys!
Brasil destrói !!!! Bia Mesquita finalizou bonito. Malfacine monstro, que movimentação !!!! Congrats for the vídeo. Great !!!!
My favorite highlight on youtube
These are all humble submissions, respectful. This is pure martial arts.
Year of the blockchain and Ezekiels from the back
Many thanks for the free content!!!! Black belt submissions and black belt camera work! Osss
Amazing video! Also love the Music
That was so good thank you!
NIce video! Fighting on the ground is really hard.
Well I can spell ezekiel...that's what I can do.
Underrated comment right here ladies and gentlemen.
its an ezequielle choke not ezikiel choke so sorry bro
Top, really detailed and nice too watch
Just smothering levels of grappling.
This Espen Meregali guy from Kimura Nova Alliance is pretty good 10:01
CLEAN.
That damn worm guard will make you post that arm every time,then....death.
insane that he could make a black belt expose his arm like that
Wait wait where ?

Very talented people!
These some bad ass peeps. All of them.
Respect to the people that check on their opponent and dont immediately start celebrating. Some of these people are a little full of themselves.
Its amazi g how many rear chokes can be gotten with all black belts.
Man that ezekiel from the back is deadly technique. Wondering why I never use it.
Meregali vai pra pegar mesmo! O que teve mais finalizações selecionadas eu acho.
9:50 um dos poucos que teve humildade na vitoria...
Respeito é algo muito maneiro de se ver.
Ezekial from the back? How many times?
4:54 Either that is NOT Bea Mesquita...OR we have 2 now haha
The soundtrack is awesome. what is it some kind of acid jazz?
sick soundtrack
Awesome! Im going to have to try and incorporate some ezekiel chokes in the game haha
Take the back guys
Gotta love the respect between the women
Hey can you guys please make videos of Junior BJJ hightlights?
Is choke from the back the same as rear naked choke?
Fantastic stuff. And a wrist-lock submission at the end? Aikido does work after all!! ;)
so many different finishes
The last one was the best
Claudinha
3:38 Looked like the ref missed it =o
Ends it with a VICOUS wristlock thats what I'm talking bout
22 black belt submissions from 2019 worlds pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
MUSIC REMINDS ME OF THE DOCUMENTARY...CHOKE
That wrist lock at the end was crisp, made me cringe too lol
3:36-3:54 Is it just me, or does it look like Keenan is in the late stages of a pub crawl?
Can anyone explain the difference in white bar and red bars on the belts? Thanks
I belive that means halfway from advancment
5:05, that triangle armbar was amanda alequin, AKA TUBBY SANTANA not bia mesquita
💯
How is this tournament different from ADCC?
Malfacine is such a beast
oss
You've gotta playlist the video in the description, the music is great
The world is coming to an end and you're the reason. I had to mute the whole thing.
@@ronjones-6977 Sounds like a nick cave lyric. Go home and get your shinebox Ron. Don't need your old-man-"that-aint-music" having self ruining the vibe
That’s a lot of Ezekiels from The Back
@2:12 wow 😮😮🔥🔥
Darn shame, Rudson mateus 50/50 armbar didn't make the cut. And Tommy langaker had a beautiful armbar from guard in his prelim match
They would have been but weren't filmed. They need more cameras.
can i have the music plz
Can someone tell me why some competitions ban ankle locks or knee bars?
Belts Divisions. Stright Ankle are usually allowed from Blue belts and on. Knee Bars, toe Holds, etc are allowed in Brown and Black Belts. Thing is that subs have a very little window from feeling the pain to be injury. (ACL anyone?) A lower belt that try to defend in the wrong way one of those ends hurting himself. High rate injury subs mean high rate of injuried people, not really worthy until competitors knows what they are really doing and pros.
im not a fan of the gi, but damn that was awesome
whats wrong with the gi
@@menom4278 theres nothing wrong with it, i just dont like rolling in a gi
Harleking I feel y’a, some have a weird material that is uncomfortable which is why I got mine from this fancy store in Oklahoma
Man. Sunday-worlds is the fucking best.
Keenan is unreal
Keenan's always tired 😂
One of the only people that don’t juice the fuck up 😂
@@MasterAraid I really feel like there wasn’t that much juice in this video but idk you tell me
rickson by... choke from the back?
Savageness
Keenan Cornelius literally the only guy who shook hands with his opponent right after winning. 👏
not true, two woman at the end hugged even
Pena tapped?
Why did that ref move her foot out of the gi? Is that normal? Fairly still new to bjj but I've never seen that.
If it was traped in a way that could hurt the toes.
My name is Harley I Arbar and I’m a orange belt Jitsu and I’m gonna be there one-day
If you're serious, I hope you make it.
Such an assertive boy! Prove it.
2:55 is that Cyborg?
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
That Ezekiel choke looks nasty tho
8:33 hello photographer lady
Vai Brasil!
CHOKE FROM THE BACK🙄
👊🏼
Some people are asking, how is @12:22 an Ezekiel? I believe it's correctly labeled Ezekiel. It's NOT a "mix" of arm triangle/Ezekiel -- unless that means he started with one and finished with the other. Here's why --
In both chokes, you need to block the artery on each side of the neck. The right arm could be in the same position for Ezekiel or arm triangle (although he'd normally grip inside his own sleeve for Ezekiel). The question isn't the attacker's right arm but the left (or in other words, the defender's right artery). Is he using his left arm to block the right artery (Ezekiel), or is he pressuring the opponent's shoulder into his artery (triangle)?? That's the only question. At first it definitely starts out as an arm triangle. But at 12:35, the attacker adjusts and brings his left arm into the right artery. By the time he sits on his left hip (12:36), he's completely relying on that pressure, not arm triangle pressure. Just try sitting like that and finishing with arm triangle pressure. It won't work. So it's correctly labeled an Ezekiel. Instagram> sidemountkilla
ah, the wrist lock!
I'm begginer in ibjjf rules, is wrist lock alowed?
From Blue Belts.
Bruno Malfacine vs Mighty Mouse... Make it happen!!!!!!!!!!
Brian Bechtel that would be frickin amazing, especially sub only, I would pay a lot of money tho see that, tho I do believe Pof. Malfacine would win.
Yaaaassss I hope they do
in pure grappling bruno wins 10 out of 10. In MMA might mouse, obvious. I don't think would be a fair match
12.08 is not ezekiel but side choke i think
this ezekiel combined with katqagatame is like kimura control..... dificult to defend or scape when your hand is on his shouder...
Newton Souza
trying this tonight
once the hand is on the shoulder i think it will be a chair sitto pinch/control hips. i like that they cant defend the choke hand or see it coming
very slick
Filipe Pena vs. Dana White @ 10:31
@12:21 Looks more like a modified/reverse D'Arce choke to me.
Arm triangle IMO
Isn't the 12:07 sub a katagatame?
I bet no one is wondering what the high percentage submissions are now lol
Is Ezekiel something like arm triangle?
Taras Mykhaylyschuk no not really. None of your opponents arms are really involved. Probably some variation of where there is but it’s mainly a carotid artery choke or airway choke
@@moosemoosepower appreciate that 🙏
Why there is so few legocks in bjj competitions ? And how explain their success in grappling ?
The GI gives much more opportunities of positions, transitions and somehow it's harder to get in a leglock position when you're rolling with a GI. Maybe because of the amount of grips and ways to hold your opponent. What are your thoughts?
Hugs from Brazil.
The Gi. So much more grips and options for defense no only for attacks. And, Chokes are everywhere.
