My cousin Jim, great to see this. Bunmahon, just the name brings to my mind many, many fond memories. Wonderful. 💗

I remember going to Kennedy with my mother, it must have been around Christmas time because I seen a little rag doll that I liked it was about six inches tall come Christmas morning I got the rag doll. And going into kennedeys on a summer Sunday and getting "fipenny ice-cream" the best ice cream I have ever tasted. I left the area in 1963 was back last year and it's so sad to the pubs and shops all closed it used to be thriving that's how I remember it anyway. I love Bunmahon it has such potential.

Very informative. Spent a few summer holidays at Kennedy's in the 60's.I remember Sis Kirwan telling us about her time in Paris before the war.
