Cutting machine operator

Cutting machine operators turn and mill parts for machines, devices or systems made of metal. Manufacture turned and milled parts for machines, devices and systems made of metal (e.g. motors). Set up and maintain machine tools (turning, milling and grinding machines) and prefabricated systems. Create and use programs for computer-controlled manufacturing systems (so-called CNC machines). Manufacture components and document test and work results (e.g. whether the dimensions or the surface quality correspond to the specifications). Plan and organize machining processes and monitor the associated production processes. Find and eliminate faults in the machines. Organize work processes according to schedule and economic specifications and also coordinate them with the upstream and downstream areas in the company.
