    I appreciate this video. It is clear and can be useful for students. However, I wanted to point out that, during the flat portions of the heating curve, more than one phase exists. During the melting of the ice cube, both a solid and liquid coexist. During the vaporization of liquid water, both liquid and gas coexist. So, single phase when the line has a slope; 2 phases coexisting when the line is flat.
