Hi. Chord sequence G, D/F#, Em and D is incorrect. It should be G, D, Em, D, C and D.

Peter may not see this response 11 months on but to answer the question for anyone else who might be confused.
The choice of chords can seem odd depending on the technique you are using to play through the song.
If you are finger picking through it using arpeggios G, D/F#, Em and D work better in fact I often just play G, D, Em, D usually which I feel also works just as well, listen to the backing track in this area to get a feel for what I mean.
If you are straight strumming through that section G, D, Em, D, C and D are more appropriate, this may better fit with what is heard in the original song but both work there also.
