@@wingmanfoilclub Ha ha yes, when I lived in Portland full time it was easier to hit Arlington and 3 mile, my two fav. spots in the Gorge. Love Rufus, but it gets crowded sometimes and I will do almost anything to avoid the masses. Good stuff Rob, keep the videos coming.

@Chakirisan you’re the second person to recommend Arlington and 3 mile to me. Gonna have to check it out next time

Really enjoyed this review, Rob! How would you compare it to the Code 850S which I saw you talk about with Josh from the Foil Shop?

It’s been a minute since I rode the Code, but I would say the Progression is more playful and the Code is more glidey. The 125 is definitely more agile but sometimes it can get unruly at speed. The Code is more locked in. The Code turns with more of a carve feel. Probably similar stall speeds.
I can’t say too much more without riding the Code again. Both great foils. I would go Code if I was thinking more downwind and race as I think they have more wings in that range with the R series. I would go Unifoil if I was more out looking to have fun and do surfy stuff or freestyle.

Nice! 🤙 What shim and tail were you using?

I think I was using the 1 degree and shank. Or maybe 0 degree and shank. It felt great with very little tail input. Can use a full degree less than Vyper for sure.

@@wingmanfoilclub Thanks. Have you tried it with the new progression tail? They are an improvement over the G10's for sure.

new board too ! so the 125 progression is the most polyvalent wing , surf foil in the progression range ?

I would say it’s the best foil in the Progression range. Can’t necessarily say it’s the most versatile. Maybe it is. But rather it just does everything the best if you have either the skill or conditions for it. And it doesn’t require much of those things.
Also I already broke that board in 3 sessions. It was a temporary solution while I wait for a new VB Surfboards board.
