I’ve always used Prestone screenwash
My ratios:
Summer 1:19
Spring/autumn 1:9
Winter: neat
Always top up every 2 weeks just to make sure it’s full never let it run low.
Also keep empty bottles for summer and spring/autumn mixes with self made ratio marks on the side and away make sure they are made up as it’s easy to grab a bottle for the season and top up with out hassle

Hello. Thanks for the video. I have read that Golf mk7 does not have a fuse. What could be in this case? Wipers goes on but water pump does not sound when activate it. Thank you in advance

Hey that’s correct these pumps are controlled by the body control module…so in this case I would check measure values and you’ll be able to see the bcm activating the pump if that’s the case check the voltage at the pump if it’s getting what it needs upto the pump then the outcome would be to put a new pump on :)

Most of the time this is due to a blocked jet unblocking that usually cures this problem

my pump is working and makes a noise when trying to activate but nothing comes out yet my screen wash is full, what’s the problem?

Probably a blocked mesh gauze inside the bottle

@@TheVWMechanic_official Thanks for getting back. My first thought is to unplug it maybe reveal motor and use some electrical switch cleaner and clean all terminals.
