Travis Pastrana' 860HP Subaru GL Wagon Gymkhana CRASH @ FOS Goodwood 2024!

- During the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, I have filmed the insane 860HP Subaru GL Wagon Gymkhana driven by Travis Pastrana (who took over the Gymkhana series a couple of years ago). This is no ordinary GL wagonhis, it's the latest Hoonigan drift machine, called The Family Huckster! During the shootout on Sunday, unfortunately it crashed in the Molecomb corner. Lucky no one was injured. Enjoy the video!

Pastrana is notorious for taking things just far enough... this video was a perfect example of how comfortable, hyped, and confident he got over the course of each heat.

That corner is in shade all morning, lots of people were going off or nearly doing so. Damp and slick plus cold tires
Just too quick for the corner in a pretty bad handling car.
This happened at about 5:15 in the evening.
Molecomb corner claims yet another victim. Even a driver like this with fantastic car control. This corner is a lot sharper than it looks from a spectators view point, slightly off set to spill you off into those heavy bails, almost no off run and in it's own little, every changing micro-climate (light and tarmac conditions). It's like threading a needle. Hard apex to read. Entry speed and line into it many meters back from it are essential to get it right. The flint wall is another threading the needle moment. It's a very challenging hill climb course. A lot more difficult than it looks. FOS - one of the world's greatest motorsport/car spectacles! And so well organised... No doubt this awesome Scooby will be back.

Are we supposed to believe those ridiculous little flaps actually do anything? Reminds me of the F1 driver who casually sat on a wing - when told off that he'd "break it" he said "but you guys said it gave a quarter of a ton of downforce?"
