I've always wanted a bull terrier because they’ve been in movies since humans made films! They’re so cool looking but I have always heard how incredibly high their energy can be, how much attention and exercise they demand and how tough it can be to train them bc they’re so hard headed. Interesting to see an exception.
And they’re so smart so sure that makes them even more difficult to train!
@@CuddleBuddiesChannel exactly. By saying they’re challenging dogs typically I’m absolutely not saying they’re problematic or aggressive or anything. Only that humans bred them to be extremely high energy, very smart and in need of mental and physical stimulation and it is our duty to meet those needs if we take them into our family.
well my boy is just like Sunshine, he loves to sleep more than go on walks. The biggest problem if you can call it that is that they are super STUBBORN. If he is out on a walk and has had enough, then he will lie down and will not budge an inch. It has been known for us to drag him back to the car - don't worry he doesn't wear a collar but a harness, so no harm done ☺
He is gentle with other dogs and creatures but an amazing watch dog and although people will walk across the road when they see him coming, he is a love-bug. Most of the Bull breeds get a bad rap, but in my honest opinion, Bull Terriers are an amazing dog to own. Joe is now 10 and I hope he goes on another 10 years, we love him.

I am officially in love with Sunshine. We've had a couple of bull terriers come through our local shelter and they were both absolute gems, too.

he reminds me of one of my neighbours' bull terrier. sweet, goofy, nothing like the stereotypes. I hate how people are so quick to judge dogs by their breed or looks. it's not the breed, it's how you raise and treat them

I had Miniature bullterrier, that was a mess at first: attacked ANY other animal, but she loved people. But with a bit of training and very much patience she turned into the best dog ever. She loved to sleep on her big brother, a Border Collie. They loved each other so much... And after some time, she liked all other dogs and even layed at the fence with our chickens, side by side.

@@CuddleBuddiesChannel yes i did have an English Bull Terrier crossed with Jack Russell. She had the looks of an EBT but colouring was white, brown and very pink skin. Zoe (a.k.a) waggy bum, stinky pinky and she was just like your sunshine with wanting to say hello to everybody she met, a friendly, confident, happy bundle of waggy joy xxx

I had a female bull terrier and she was the sweetest dog in the world. I was pregnant when I had her and she loved napping with me with my big pregnant belly then when Andy was born she played with him and was so gentle and sweet with him. What a beautiful dog!!!!

Bull Terriers are misunderstood in general. I had one and she was the absolute sweetest and most loving furbaby ever. She thought she wasn't fond of cats until she went after one and it came back after her. Then she knew that we don't attack cats... ever. Highly intelligent and incredibly caring. Anybody who says differently can flip off because they do not know the breed.
You are absolutely right. I accidentally met a lady with a bull terrier while walking my dog. ❤ ❤ ❤ LOVE at first sight on our behalf. What a sweet, beautiful dog. Very social. Cuddles and a big lick immediately. I have never been afraid of dogs and I guess they sense/smell it.

I had a 55 lb bull terrier named Winston ,he was a rescue dog,my new wife rescued a litter of kittens whose mother had been run over,one day I came home and none of our animals met me at the door as they normally did, I looked around and found them all behind the wall unit with the t.v. ,vcr,and cable box ,( early 80’s) one of the kittens had (apparently climbed the unit ,fell and got her neck tangled in the cords, she was hung, Winston was underneath the kitten holding her up with his nose ,keeping her from choking to death, ( no idea how long he was sitting there) ! Most amazing thing !

I Am a Doberman man and 3 weeks ago I lost my 3rd best loyal soulmate Doberman called Junior but lol my 2nd love of dogs is the CLOWN OF DOGS the 2000 Mph bursts of run without a single item of the house gets damaged the Bullterrier I love them so much and thank u for sharing the real personality of the breed when in good hand like this.
