Surge as a full time youtube analyst i can tell you nobody cares if your music is royalty free or not. Your fans continue to watch because you make clean edits and post consistent good content. Go royalty free make that bread homie u deserve it
Each video that you make we can see how much you enjoy this and how much you care about the quality of the video. That is what I love about you and your videos, if that is what is needed I'm sure the community will support you.
Hey Surge. I came for the rust content a while back, but stayed for the vlogs. As much as I don’t normally care for vlog content, you are doing all of the things that I’ve always wanted to do but haven’t yet had the opportunity to. From challenging yourself by building new things to improve your skills to working on cars and bikes. On top of that, your video making style is awesome. Music is great, the shots are great, your humor is hilarious, and the fact that you capture the learning process so well is such a big part of why I keep coming back. Thanks for the content and keep up the good work.
mate i gotta say i came across your channel today and the editing and filming is something else. I can totally see the passion behind these videos even if your not getting paid and even if you have to change the music slightly you should be benefiting of these videos! keep up the great stuff man!!
No dvck sucking but these are the best automotive RUclips videos. The effort to not only build cars, bikes and garages but to also record every step in high quality and then edit the video to have a viewer a completely immersed in the project. Insane amount of work.
what the hell is this channel? Literally stumbled on this video thanks to the algorithm gods and damn you do quality work! No interest in supermotos whatsoever but still found myself watching the whole thing. Keep up the amazing work man!
Yo benny mate, This is some good quality videos and I cant wait for future uploads, but when is that r33 getting rebuilt? I'm dying to see that video and I'm excited for whats coming soon!
12:30 This man speaks the truth, Michelin>Pirelli>Dunlop for tyres, never cheap out on motorcycle tyres and more so your front tyre. Our shop does not stock anything but those branded tyres for a reason.
The copyright music does add a unique/authentic feel that royalty free music just cant do, but honestly man, whatever you go for ill always tune in, been watching since the early rust days, keep making these bangers ya legend, been absolutely loving this channel recently
been watching your videos since the 'THE MONSTER OF ALL BASES - Rust Raid' video and you are doing amazing... keep up the good content bro!!... love what you do on the benny surge channel btw! (talking as a car guy)
Absolutely need to do Surge MotoVlogging. Also a video about the girlfriends bike would be good as too. Loved this video and all of the cinematography of the process and the final edit. The quality of these vids are just getting better and better and it's been amazing watching it over the years. Love it brother :)
I was worried i wouldn't be as interested in your content on this channel, but here I am how many vids later? And I gotta admit your vids have definitely been one of the big reasons i'm slowly turning into a gear-head. Lot's of learning yet to come and I'm actually way more interested in it all than i'd ever have expected..
Honestly never really thought this channel would be as good as the rust content, just because the transition is so harsh, real world vs game, etc, but your smashing this. Super entertaining, good host, cool videos. Props Surge, keep it up.
Came here from your shed build video. had a hunch you were a fellow rust addict by the story telling and certified bangers! in that video. Now its confirmed! Keep countering those neighbors!
Good to see not everyone thinks the same way americans do, they hate our accent with a passion, but then again I think they hate every accent that's not theirs.
I was just looking for a random super moto build and I wasn’t expecting much. Then this video popped up and it was very well edited and made. Easy sub and like
Put some axle sliders on it, and i also like the wrap around hand guards with the aluminium bar in them. Better to wear out the axle sliders if you lowside the bike, than wearing out more expensive parts. I had that on both my KTM's.
For anyone interested I basically have done the exact same build but with a 2005 wr450. I went for a 14 tooth front sprocket and a 38 rear , it cruises on 110 all day long and still has crazy torque. I never had any problems with the kke rims and cst tyres , they are really good for the money .
I think you would benefit most from using non copyright music, because not everyone is willing to put money into a patreon from their own pocket. Also if you had a sponsor it would be huge. Edits and video quality is top notch, and as long as the music fits the edit your good.
@@theowainwright7406 I completely agree. These videos wouldn't be the same with some generic copyright free music in the background. Not that I would stop watching them, but it adds something special to the videos that you don't usually see.
I got a 350W electric Windgoo B20. When it is 50% or more charged I always seem to do small wheelies during launch. It is absolutely hilarious. Showed it off to some friends a few days ago. We had quite a laugh. It is the reason why I actually want to get a proper super bike in the future
Have a look at the Profi laser chain alignment tool. Cheap as chips and German quality. Slap it against your driven sprocket and it shoots a beam down your chain all the way to your driving sprocket. Cool tool to have that makes sure your rear wheel is perfectly lined up to the micrometre. The swing arm markings are okay but nothing beats German laser precision!
Just cause you're chains lined up dnt mean you're wheels are , those marks on the chain guide are useless ,laser pointer in ally holder does the job ,but
The music taste on this guy bro $uicideboy$ for the edit and Tame Impala while he's working for good vibes don't think my music taste has come closer to any other youtuber 😮
A true content creator whether it be in film or general RUclips understands the importance of great audio. The tracks you choose take the content from standard YT to something much more entertaining. That being said which song was the one that kept saying something about death.
Benny, look into putting in an extra chain slap guard near the rim... as found out I needed one after seeing the chunks taken out of my wheels rim, and awesome build mate!! love the channel!
Video? The garage build? That was a whole movie bruh! But it was incredible, enjoyed every minute of it, I hope to see you succeed in all you wish for!!
Surge, please take some notes. You should never. Put paint on the thread of the bolts. WD40 as prep for painting/ "sanding" with a brass wirewheel. Only paint the heads of the bolts (easiest way is to stick it through cardboard). With sanding only use water. And use sandpaper like 400 -> 800 grit. Use acetone or 90 proof alcohol to degrease before painting. Warming the surface with a heat gun will greatly increase the quality of the paint when home painting. Bike looks awesome though :) !
Surge vids are sooooo good man. The editing and pace is on point and keeps me hooked haha. Copyright music or not these vids bang mate. One thing with the bike did you look into a Kush hub for the bike? They stop lash build up to the gearbox from the extra force riding on the road has on a dirt bike with off road gearing/tolerances. Had one on my old carby wr450 super moto build. Cheers big horse
Love the vid and personally enjoy this content way more than the rust content! Also u might have been going for the rough look very possible but if not get yourself a buffer/polishwheel or kit, beats the wirebrushes and manual sanding/polishing. If u enjoyed it, u prob did cuz it's a nice build flipping dirtbikes/bikes is a whole sweet niche on youtube to get into and make some money doing it. Keep posting stuff like this man :p
For someone who doesn't have much experience you do shit amazingly well and proper. Hell yeah you definitely should be proud of your work brother! It definitely shows.
This video of yours was on the front page of my fyp, and I love the cinematic aesthetics. The music was great too. You should do more motorcycle related things if you haven’t already. Also be careful on those tires😬
Fuarking sick build benny, i've always wanted a supermoto myself, always fancied the DRZ400's in a yellow/black theme, owned a couple road bikes so maybe one day! keep up the gold content brother!
Love your vids mate. Think about a cush drive rear wheel to save your gearbox the thumper pain though. Hope you engaged safety squint when the Dremel blade exploded! Keep up the good work.
Surge is the one YTer on this entire platform that said "screw it, I'm using copyright protected music. Why? Because it's fucking good music." From what I understand, monetization doesn't bring in much as it used to for new channels anyhow, so yeah there's no real loss there. By going against the grain you released yourself to elevate the quality of your content higher than it would be if you were to use royalty free music. It punches a lot harder.
I love the fact you use copywritten music, although you should make scratch purely for your editing alone. Great channel, you have a new subscriber Mr Australian man

agreed
I second this but then I can't steal surges banging tunes
i say go with the song that goes best with the scene.

Hot tip, when painting bolts poke them through some cardboard so your only painting the bolts head (:
The music in this video is top tier. I respect that you put the art first.
Loving the channel man. Benny Surge IRL is top tier content
Your videos are so sick, the cinematic edits with the funny bits u throw in are so fire!!!
that first rev at 1:30 got me M O I S T, so glad i found this channel, love the editing, content a flow man, I know ima year late but here now 🤝

12:33 is exactly what I though when I seen those tyres. Solid video mate
I love the way you guys talk, and i’m nit talking about your accent. The choice of words and adjectives are so creative
The picture quality, the sound quality, the editing... DAMN I'm glad I found your channel. Keep up the good work!

I love how you pumped the bike up all the way, shook it, then the next clip is the bike back on the ground

Watching from the other side of the world here in the UK. Just subscribed for the 'down to earth', 'boys be boys' chillout viewing. Thanks Surge
Came here from your shed build video. had a hunch you were a fellow rust addict by the story telling and certified bangers! in that video. Now its confirmed! Keep countering those neighbors!
Omfg, starting the video with Los Natas. I instant subscribe bro, the music, the editing, the content, all is a 10. Greetings from Argentina.

Good to see not everyone thinks the same way americans do, they hate our accent with a passion, but then again I think they hate every accent that's not theirs.
The music does not make the Benny surge we all know and love it is your story telling and editing that seals the deal for me.
the wheelie clip had me doing a cheeky giggle, the kind of giggle you do when you doorcamp the 40man zerg
Another bagger lad, been watching RUclips my hole life and this probably my if not one of my fav channel to date keep it up.
Eulogy song choice is amazing, your videos and music choice are great, I hope you make it big
just finished work, this is the first video to come up on my feed. So glad its your video Benny
I was just looking for a random super moto build and I wasn’t expecting much. Then this video popped up and it was very well edited and made. Easy sub and like
Surge stepping into my world with this one! Awesome to see bro! Now I just need to come over there and teach you how to hit some dank nooners
A collab would be great, too bad you two don't even live on the same continent...
Put some axle sliders on it, and i also like the wrap around hand guards with the aluminium bar in them. Better to wear out the axle sliders if you lowside the bike, than wearing out more expensive parts. I had that on both my KTM's.

i agree on the overused music part and i like that u choose so much phonk. lovely
Nice build and vids mate. Painting the clutch cover will scratch up easy, anodised is what u need. Force accessories have them.
Should've painted the plastics around the headlight black
Great content and was super surprised when Eulogy came on, I was even more sold. Love the content, love the vibes, cant wait to see more.
ive had the bike building itch lately, didn't even know this was a benny vid till i heard the voice. Good shit surge
That 007 Goldeneye beat at 9:11 is mint!
A tip for painting them bolts you should stick the threads through a piece of cardboard so your only painting the heads and not the threads

Pw80 was my first bike too bro, I’m on a husky te 300 for enduro/cross now and scorpa 125 for trials
hearing pink guy randomly just projected me back a good 6 or 7 years what a feeling

Congratulations on your project. Your bike is amazing and your video is very nice.
What a sick build man! For me I'd a blue headlight fixture and some smaller turnsiginals and it would be a dream. Congrats man, ride safe!
Your garage is awesome. Supra’s next to a ninja and a supermoto. What a dream!
You need to be making money of these videos Benny, they’re way way to high quality for non profit.
I subbed to the Patreon
The music taste on this guy bro $uicideboy$ for the edit and Tame Impala while he's working for good vibes don't think my music taste has come closer to any other youtuber 😮
I didnt think using copyrighted music would make a difference, really makes the whole video feel quality

That being said which song was the one that kept saying something about death.
The first one is a remix with Devilish Trio, and the second one is $uicide boy$. I'm trying to find that song as well lol
I found it, the original song is Eulogy by $uicide Boy$
@@sethbouton5974 thanks mate

Bro this is absolutely beautiful, your ability to use editing to evoke emotion within the audience is amazing.
Yesss I wanted to see more on this bike since I saw it in the shed build
Looks sick, anodized bolts over the head etc will finish that of
Cinematic edits are always so good from you, loved watching you over the past few years! Definitely need a vid of your girls bike also 😍
DAMN another masterpiece! I also really adore the fact that he put one of the songs featured in NFSU 2
