I think the clear plastic part on the extension is for the wii because they have the same connection on the bottom of the wii remote, and so does the nes. The plastic part was so you could tuck that little door on the bottom on the wii remote away along with the strap so it wouldn’t bother you when you use the nun-chucks or other accessories

Those accessories were made for Wii remotes. Yes the NES classic edition has nunchuck input slots, but those were designed specifically for those two short ass pads. The little plastic thing over there I believe it's for the Wii remote wrist straps.

Who didnt sit in front of their tv when they were young with the lights off and the sound of crickets, and having the beams of lights from the tv shine in front of your face when defeating ganon in zelda. its more nostalgic to have it like that and brings back childhood memories.

Extension cable is originally for Wii. That clip is for the Wiimote Wrist strap.

I had the super nintendo first and while my childhood room was small it would reach all the way from my tv to my bed
It's short because rooms in Japan are much smaller. Same applied to the original famicom with its short, hard-wired controlers.
