  • In this tutorial I will show you how to make this beautiful bed runner. All the explanation is in the video for sizing
The materials I have used are DK yarn /lightweight no 3 and a 5mm crochet hook for the runner but you can use any yarn and recommended hook for this project
The width of the runner should be Approx 20 inches and for the length you can measure your bed and allow for the drop either side. Work up a chain to an even number and drape it over your bed. Additionally if you want to add tassels on either edge allow for that in your length Approx 2 inches each side. Forgot to mention that in the video. Hope you like it and enjoy making it. Happy crocheting and thanks for everyone’s support.

This is a beautifully unique bed runner. How much yarn was required for the doouble bed size? I believe I read somewhere that you also have patterns for flowers. Would the flowers be compatible with this runner? If so, I would love to receive this information/pattern.

I think I recall I used about 5 balls of 100g DK yarn . I do have tutorials already for some flowers which could work as they are flat.
You can make a combination of the larger and smaller ones maybe? Stitch a cluster of them together on to the runner that may look pretty I think.
Ofcourse it’s just an idea. Hope that helps.

Hi. This was made for a double bed. I didn’t measure the chain I just made a chain and lay it on my bed. As explained in the video but this one measure approx 20 inch the width and from one side of the bed to the other 95 inches . But not including the tassels . Hope that helps
