    Good way to explain it...
    Breaking it down into mini circuits.
    Thr SEPIC converter is very similar, except it's non inverting.

    We r getting voltage at o/p reversed in polarity to that of input voltage ,in the video lecture we got positive voltage at bottom terminal of capacitor 2 ,and that bottom terminal is connected to Ground or battery minus terminal , won't that make shorting ??⚡

    What's the difference between cuk and buck boost because both gives inverted output ??

      Cuk Converter is a variant of buck boost converter with low ripple current, without pulsating current and with even better current waveform as compared to basic buck boost topology

      Size of component (Inductor and capacitor) in Cuk converter is claimed to be smaller compare to the same buck boost. but nos of component is more in Cuk compare to Buck-Boost

    hai...your explanation was very nice...
    i have one question, where we need the negative output voltage?? For which application we use this negative output voltage as input supply??

      Thanks Sathya. We use negative supplies for op amps ( i.e +Vcc and - Vee will be there to energise op amps isn't it). Even for energising the transistor we use it. Hope this helps :)

      Yes we do. It depends on the nature of application. I have just demonstrated here.
