- In this video I'm installing the BakFlip G2 on my 2013 Honda Ridgeline.
Tools needed, screwdriver and a drill.
I had to do some modifications to the top to ensure proper fitment.
I hope this will help you in your decision making for buying the top or help for you installation.
I have the exact same cover on my ridgeline. I had to modify the rails as well so that it wouldn't interfere with the tailgate operation. Beautiful looking cover though
Yeah I like the cover .
Did you also had to modify the top for the 2 screws ? I bin searching for other screws but nothing that really would work . My top was 5mm to wide were the screws are that hold the rails.
@gdm_crx8513 I had mine installed at the dealership. The tailgate didn't close properly when I picked it up, so when I got home, I trimmed the rails that were rubbing on the gate. Not sure about the rest of the install
Sorry, the frequent movement of the camera gave me a headache.
Tried to show things up close . So you can see what I’m doing . But thank you . I try to improve this in my videos . Still hope it help with your install .

Do you have a small gap at on the two corners where it presses up to the cabin?
Yes very small . Keeping debris out but little water will go in . Sadly not able to seal well enough that no water would get into the trunk.
Working on a review of the top after I bin using it a wile .
@@gdm_crx8513 looking forward to your review. I just installed mine, had all the same issues that you did. Including the clip on installation at the front, I wish they had you do that before you put it on the truck haha.
That’s crazy, hope my video helped out a bit . A cover in this price range should not have problems like that .
