- Emily Blunt swung by our studios to talk about her new movie 'A Quiet Place', which her husband, John Krasinski, wrote, directed and also starred in.
She sat down with Lydia Batham to chat about how long she'd last in a post-apocalyptic world, not understanding John and her being relationship goals, the little ways she's trying to make her daughters British and the history lesson we'll get in Mary Poppins Returns.

This "phenomenon" is due to the fact that more and more, people have become less professional in their jobs, and it turns out thats quite fresh in this particular line of work

This is probably the best interview I've seen of both Emily and John in terms of their movie. It's because a lot of other interviewers repeat the exact same questions as others, and it gets old after the 3rd time. This interviewer and Emily seemed to be having an actual conversation as opposed to a Q&A.

This interviewer is just lovely. It’s so refreshing to watch an interview that is a genuine chat with interesting questions. And she’s so professional but relaxed at the same time.
This is an actual CONVERSATION. You’ll hear this kind of conversation in real life with (not bitchy) people sitting next to you at a café (yes I am that stalker). Absolutely loved it, great interviewer, great guest

No, she definitely had a nose job. Her younger pictures show some pretty great examples of a bump on her nose, that is now gone. I actually preferred her old nose.

Love this interviewer. She’s excellent. Emily is amazing and beautiful and funny as always. Her and John are definitely relationship goals, btw. And I’m so not into celebrity couples, and never have been, but...they are just seriously so beautiful and great together.
I like the interviewer, you can tell she is genuinely interested in the movie and Emily and she treats it more like a conversation rather than an interview

A Quiet Place is one of the best movies ever made. I love the fact that it depicts loving parents instead of bumbling idiots!

I have heard these same questions to Emily a million times about the accent, pronunciation and if her girls are more English or American - seems like they ask her that on every chat show. Old news!! Emily is a champ for continuing to be gracious and kind. Love her. Movie questions were decent.

This was one of the few movies where I had to remind myself at times that they were actors playing a role just to get my head out of the situations. I always see through horror movies, which takes away from the experience sometimes, but this one is just too immersive

I was a Boy Scout leader for 11 years, worked a summer on a Scout summer camp and worked as a Cub Scout Pack leader for 1 year. In the Boy Scouts one of our leaders came up with the expression "The Sub-Human Phase" to describe kids, who at 13 or 14 years of age become difficult and challenging. We never allowed them to hear us say that. We used the expression to vent and to strategize how we would be handling the kid. We all go through this phase so working with the kids was not frustrating on a long term basis.
Lol... I take it that you decided from that point on that you had zero desire to become a parent...

I’m not upset but I don’t get why it is so important that their children have an accent or don’t have an accent. I say wherever they’re living (speaking of the children now) and are surrounded by that particular accent let them go with it don’t be hurt or upset. the MAIN THING is that the children should be healthy and happy. You’re living in America for a long time so let the girls speak with an American accent and don’t make them feel guilty about it. If you guys decide to pick up and live in the UK then GREAT, they will speak with an English accent.
Emily Blunt's performance in this movie is staggering. I completely forgot she was acting or that I was watching a movie. My heart stopped during that damn bathtub scene.
I love her more after knowing we have a love and devotion for Heinz baked beans. There is nothing like it and I will eat nothing else. Fun interview 👍🏻
