Weymouth is heroin Capital of southern england best thing in Weymouth is the road out of it
Fantastic fishing and video .
Thank you very much.
Arie, Holland
Great video mate, nice touch linking up with the shop also, great insight into LRF, I will add a few of these for when the lures arent working and chase some littleuns
Good fishing shop there and corner cafe across from them great breakfast
Quality m8 😂😂... Looks good craic... I'll be goin to ma local brook and walk it the whole length with similar equipment 👍
Infectious enthusiasm, going to give it a go soon!
Wonderfully entertaining :)
I use live bait with LRF. I don't think there are rules. It's more about the flexibility.
Compliment!!!there is beautiful video!!!👍👍👍SCORFANO IS LOVE FISH!!!!
A grown man will buy a 400-500eur LRF/MicroJig setup to relive catching that 6cm goby as a child.
Great video dude thanks
"Adult crabbin', without crabs"! "a bit o twinkin' n a bit o' twonkin'". Classic!
Delightful thankyou
Just been to Weymouth with family and did just exactly this. Loads of fish. Weymouth is epic for lrf
I'm (a different type of) hooked to your video's Stephen! Keep it up! PS: If you need some tips on the most amazing one of a kid customized AM 90's, let me know. 😎
Inspirational video. I haven’t fished since I was 12. I’m 47 now and just been thinking about doing a little LRF. This inspired my 11 year old daughter and I to order a new real to go with an old vintage boat rod that I found abandoned in my front garden one day!
With any luck, we could be having Mackerel dinner one weekend soon.
Good luck casting that boat rod but happy people are getting in to lrf
Nice video, with the music thought you were in Caribbean lol weymouth looks great! I do a tonne of lrf and wrassing in Ireland. It would be nice to hear what weight and hook size your using although ive a good idea already, just may be helpful to newbies lol
Cool video! :D
Great inspiration.
Those Air Max freaked me out though. Broke my ankle pre-baiting for Carp whilst wearing Air Max. Still got the souvinear plate n pins.
Great video ! Just getting into LRF, but coming from Manchester, everywhere a trek! Can you suggest any decent venues up this end of the country? Failing that where would you suggest is a good place for a novice to try? Cheers!
3:00 OMG, wish there was a shop like this anywhere near! Only one I know is Noroco in Drammen, but it is a far cry from this one.
love Weymouth
Really great video! May I ask as I have just got in to LRF fishing what size hooks are good for this type of fishing?
Alfie Chapman anything from 4-22

Hi what is that lil tackle box you bought from the shop ?
Richard Denison it’s called a “pocket in”. I’m getting one myself!
Will the Marukyu isome also catch freshwater species such as perch, or are they scented more to suit saltwater use?
Hi Peter, it is far more effective in saltwater as it mimics ragworm.
I ve had brown trout n perch on them so yes they work of freshwater too
nice
whats the name of the rod your using in this video?
Steve calls it the "Daiwa Gecko Racing Pigeon" in his jig fishing video. I think it is the Daiwa Gekkabijin.
I recomend the cafe across the road from Angling shop
What gram rod is it
what size isome would you recommend
The small ones are tiny. I would advise the large ones that, as he says in the video can be cut into smaller pieces as required. They are not the magic he claims in the video, but they do work better than many other lures (I think primarily due to the smell infused into them).
@@JP-ic2ze They are impregnated with an amino acid - it stimulates the fish's gustatory and olfactory senses.
A bit like walking down the high st.......its not until you smell the fish and chips wafting out of the chip shop that you realise you're hungry!
Gulp worms are actually better than isome.
yow cor beat a bit of Brummy bluntness!
im not criticizing but you said gekapigeon (gekapijin) and its actually gekabijin great reels though but only good if you get the ones made in japan
How are u wearing a coat in the sun? 😂😂
He probably put his arms through the sleeves, pulled it up over his shoulders, and then pulled up the zip.
ha ha haaaa, SSOOO funny, 😂
andre rieu
Would have caught more with real bait lol. Pop out a couple of boom rigs with worm or with those little dinks you caught and you'll catch dinner mate
My best catch on lures was ten bass in three hours with two of those over eight pounds, all were over four. I am 50. I have been sea fishing for 45 of those years. Lures in the right situation will outfish bait significantly. A friend with me had fifteen at the same time all between four and six.
I have also caught more large pollack on lures than bait by a huge margin.
Just saying.....
well those what you catch is nothing mate. I am doing LRF sweet water and catching 60-70 cm pikes 30-35 cm perches.
Hi Sport. Despite your misogynistic, or perhaps I should say, misses-ogynistic attitude towards woman of the opposite sex: in particular your betrothed, but this video is a hoot, and so refreshing that there are other ways of fishing than casting-out to the end of the world, and waiting for ever for that fish of a lifetime that never bites. LRF is bringing the fun back into the sport of fishing. R
Does his wife really hate if fishing that much?
My wife loves Lrf. She had some huge perch this year. Bigger than any lure caught perch I have had. Though I have had bigger in the past on bait.
You talk most of the time. Less action..you dont even seem to know how to. hold your rod properly, waist of time.
The setup he used was very poor. He should have either been jigging or as most people do, using drop shot. Having the weight above the lure, as he did, means you have limited control on the lure itself. You can pull it up, but he will drop too slowly with nothing pulling it down. Most importantly, having the split shot above reduces sensitivity on bites.
