After watching this, I have to say that it took a huge amount of courage and character to appear on national television under fire like Brad did. He seems like a genuinely good man trying to do the best he can in a tough situation. If I were one of those women, I would be sad, yes but also glad that he told the truth to spare me further heartbreak. Now if only I could find a quality man of values like Brad! :S
I don't get everyone hating on him anyway. Haven't we all been with someone who, yes, we had feelings for, but knew deep down we would never marry them and it was going nowhere. He did the commendable thing. Poor guy.
He and Sean Lowe were the most honest Bachelors ever. He didnt love anyone, he said it; Sean loved one, asked her to marry him, and married her. Respect.
brad is a friend of mine and he is one of the sweetest guys i have ever met. even if i didnt know him, i agree with monroe! it shouldnt be a surprise at all that he didnt find love within the 25 women that the show picked FOR him. im surprised that no one else did this before, i mean look at all the failed bachelor couples!
i know!! same here, it must have taken a lot to not choose anyone. and it must feel weird to feel like you HAVE to choose someone by the end of a season of a tv show
I met him when I lived in GB and then I had to move back to Poland so it was easier to say goodbye. I'm just lucky that we broke up and stayed friends before we got hurt (and I know we would hurt each other eventually). He's such a good guy and I know he'll find someone great for him.
Brad is the best bachelor yet (Sean too) :) He did something stupid, but we gotta forgive and forget someday! He seems very genuine and sweet and he's a real gentleman. And he's a real MAN.
I dont think he was weak at all, i think it showed strength for him to be honest and not pick either one of them ... after spending all those weeks with them, he'd know if he had sincere feelings for them or not. Being purely a spectator, i thought he was a league above them anyway.
I don't think he was a jerk at all. Was he supposed to pick someone just bc some of the viewers expected it? It shocked me, too , but shouldn't he have been honest? The ladies deserve someone who will truly love them. They weren't for him, and him for them. And it's refreshing to see a man still looking for "the fairytale romance".
I appreciate his honesty. Should he have led the woman on by asking for her hand in marraige, knowing full well that he isnt in love with her? Come on. I would rather for a guy to be straight up about his feelings than lead me on for months/years and then totally devastate me down the line.
That's so true! For example I dated great guy and I had strong feelings for him, I could spend every waking moment with him and not be bored. There was everything: passion, butterflies, great conversations, but I wasn't in love and I knew it wasn't going anywhere. We broke up 4 years ago because I moved and we're still good friends.
i think Brad is playing everyone and is putting on one of his faces. in this interview i see two sides of him, towards the end he nearly showes his true self but imedietly put that serious face on. he did it alot thoughout the series, which i picked up on anyway. from what i saw of him on tv, i would see right through him.
Watch his body language towards the end. The guy was shitting himself that he got thru that at all and for him to admit and say that if he asked a woman out that she would probably throw a drink in his face, you could tell from body language, perception, intuition whatever you want to call it, he was not messing about. If that was me in that situation, I would want to keep to myself also and wouldn't have the balls to ask a lady out either.
When you truly experience find your ultimate second half, soulmate, you'll understand why he did not and was not able to move forward with any of those women. He didn't feel they were The match, how unfair would it have been to make a proposal knowing it would end sometime after. It was respectable no matter what pain was unintentionally caused!
Well she broke quite a few guys hearts (apparently she didn't learn much from her own experience with "evil" Brad) this time around and even kept Jason from his kid for way too long considering her final choice. She goes in saying she's looking for this and that, and keeps whining that guys need to open up and then she runs off with the least mature guy of the bunch that opened up the least. Still it's not like there was any reason to expect more from her.
he does seem like a decent guy. he did the right thing. he wasn't in love with these women. he could have pulled a 'bob' and dumped the girl soon after, then went and married a soap star.
Yeah...at least he came clean...Dude made some mistakes but at least he owed them...& in public. A lot of men can't even do that. Ellen was good to give him a chance to explain. It's obvious he has some relationship issues, but who the hell doesn't. He did seem sincere and honest....and nervous! Brad, honey, get some therapy!!
good for you, Brad... too many marriages end up in divorce, and you were being honest to yourself and to the two women. America is mad? Puhleez.. it's a TV show.
I think he needs to go for men. That's the real fairy tale. I guess he waited for DeAnna who blinked a lot back when she wanted to be with him to become that girl that doesn't make think about Jenni or any other girls. (Now that they're friends. She doesn't blink no more) I don't think they were that close even though they talked a lot and had a lot of tension. He's not as relaxed with her like when he was with Sarah who didn't recognize his twin brother.
"Never goin on TV again in my life!" .... I had gained more respect for Brad from watching this until he said that, because he ended up on the Bachelor AGAIN
Would any of the 25 women still be dating Brad Womack had Brad Womack been a bit more faithful to the bachlorettes, and not taken them for granted as Playboy centerfold wanna-bees? Highly unlikely, but let's Brad Womack doesn't blow it again.
Yeah. Those are the times where it's so easy to be tempted to stay, since it's so easy. But you're doing yourself a grave injustice if you do. Not to mention the other person as well. You did the right thing if you didn't love him in that way.
@sportygurlis yea to get twice as much air time... that's not the show he had a girlfriend while he was taping the show... laurel kagay... and was asking her to marry him just days before he went on and he told her that he wasnt going to choose any of them... so his little pacing up and down deciding what to do was all an act it was all for publicity... if he didnt meet the one out of a group on the show the first time then why try it the second time? some people are so naive
How did he know he didn't have something. Without all the pressure of the show, they may have worked out. If he said lets just date for a while. Be a couple of normal people getting to know each other without all the fanfare. I think he was abit weak, he should of atleast given it a go.
hay ellen im living in a burnt trailer and I would like to no if you can help me get me another one or build me a house im so tieef of livimg like this ther is mold and the house and its been burnt so if you can please help me
He is gay. I don't say that to be disrespectful, but he is gay. He had 25 girls to pick from, all were hot. He just had to pick ONE. He did NOT have to marry that one, but just DATE one after the show if he wanted. But, he couldn't do that?
uh?? This show wasn't called, how to promote your business .if you watch very closely he never like these girls .hes a PLAYER.OR DID YOU JUST REALIZE THIS ? He should of went on the apprentice instead.
I just think Brad is a slime ball. He came into this thing not knowing what he really wanted and I think he's got commitment issues. Not fair to any of the women involved. I don't understand why he want on this show at all. I'm baffled...
at least he was honest
I totally angree

He's the new bacholor in 2011, via Reality Steve

funny how at the beginning he was playing with his left ring finger.
..i love your cOmment..i really i agree..love it..!!
Right on Ellen @ 0:24.

Ellen is hilarious!!

I don't get why he has to love them and propose, how about choosing the one he LIKES the most, dont propose, just date
brad womack is slow & the chicks are crazy
That's mature and responsible. You sound sweet. There should be more people like you.
brad's so hot.. it's better for him to not choose anyone than to hurt them in the end

I would like to marry Brad,he is my future.
I appreciate his honesty. Should he have led the woman on by asking for her hand in marraige, knowing full well that he isnt in love with her? Come on. I would rather for a guy to be straight up about his feelings than lead me on for months/years and then totally devastate me down the line.

I think its great he ended things before it was too hard to get out. Better now than later.
oh my god! Deanna was the girl at the intro of the POP video of NSYNC!!!

He'll never find a girl like DeAnna again. She had everything, everything a guy could dream of. Too bad...
Well she broke quite a few guys hearts (apparently she didn't learn much from her own experience with "evil" Brad) this time around and even kept Jason from his kid for way too long considering her final choice. @sportygurlis coz it was an act for publicity... he got on 2 seasons, what more could he want
Well, I still don't get it. He didn't have to get engaged. And your telling me that he didn't like either women enough to date? Strange.
Poor Brad! lol! Feel bad for the guy.
why doesn't she call Jason a jerk?
