on my 92 wagon, ball joint nut came off with a $100 dewalt impact driver and 19mm socket- also went on without issue the same way- all while holding the ball joint in my hand

Good explanation- was tricky to align the three bolts when installing the ball joint again

The green book specifies 17 (+ or - 4) foot pounds
