I am half Russian half Pole. I was born in Kazakhstan USSR because my ancestors were victims if political repressions. Now I live in the USA. I like the Russian cuisine the most and cook only Russian dishes. May be it is because I was raised my maternity grandmother who was Russian.
What's your favourite Russian dish?
@@ThinkInPolish My favorite Russian dishes are borscht, pelmeni and vareniki filled with potatoes( pierogi).
I was in Poland 4 years ago and I loved Polish food. Polish and Russian cuisines are very similar.
Yum.. pierogi ruskie i barszcz are probably similar things in Poland. Delicious :)
couldnt agree more, borscht with mushroom dumplings (ravioli) is so crazy good, i had like 3 plates of it on the Christmas Eve.

To wspaniałe, że często mówisz o Polsce, kraju, jego historii i kulturze w swoich filmach. Mieszkam mniej niż 100 kilometrów od polskiej granicy. Ale w moim kraju niestety wciąż wiemy zbyt mało o naszych sympatycznych sąsiadach.

Chesc, i'am from russian,and love rich russian language, and many people live in one country , also in Moscow we have many shops for eat, and also we have freedom for choose religion, and sure nature in south Russia, and youtube sanction make for russian viewers no ads,thx for make that video my polska teacher!

Thank you and congratulation with 100 subscribers! I'm sure you'll get many many more subscribers. It a shame that RUclips's algorithm hasn't picked up your channel yet. If you search "polish comprehensible input" it will display your videos very low in search. I'm sure it will eventually change, it's just the algorithm is not very kind to new channels.

I have a question about "ę" letter. I've read in several places that on the end of the word it sounds like regular "e". But in your videos I can clearly hear it sounding like "em" at the end of certain words, like in the word "lubię". But in other like "imię" you sound it like "e". Could you please tell me how to deal with this letter?
Ideally, it should sound with "ę". But the thing is that some people are not bothered to use it correctly. And when spoken quickly, it is often missed. Everyday language is changing and, unfortunately, some people became rather careless about proper sounds of the words. I would say that intellectuals would normally articulate "ę" in words like "lubię", "chcę", "idę", "potrafię", "muszę", etc... But please don't worry about it too much. Try to listen to a variety of comprehensible input, and you will develop the feel for what sounds right or wrong :-)

Z POŁUDNIA NA PÓŁNOC W KILKA DODZIN ? No chyba nie , Pory roku 4 to były kiedyś teraz to się zmieniło .
Samochodem z Częstochowy do Gdańska dojedziemy w 6 godzin ;) Pory roku oczywiście bywają kapryśne, ale ogólnie rzecz biorąc są :) I jeżeli są, to są na prawdę piękne.

I'm glad you've found this channel and I hope it will help you learn Polish:) I don't always put subtitles, as it's a lot of work and time that it takes to make them right. However, I will try to be more consistent in providing subtitles to the more difficult videos. I have now included Polish subtitles to this video, so you can rewatch it if you'd like :)
