@@BigKrownFilms LOL! Why no light rail system in Sinless City? One reason: 9-10,000 taxi/Lyft/Uber drivers opposed to it. And why did the Monorail stop at the MGM, so close to the Airport? The taxi drivers wouldn't allow it to extend to the airport! And why wasn't it extended to the Allegiant Stadium? Same reason.
@@BigKrownFilms Before I left Las Vegas, I was going to the RTC meetings on the proposed first light rail line between the Airport and Downtown via Maryland. Why Maryland and not down the Strip? Because the Feds will fund half of any light rail line Providing the line serves residents and not tourists. Those at RTC were all excited that Las Vegas was going to get its first light rail line, and? Put to a vote, they voted Rapid Bus transit instead along Maryland. I'm sure the taxi drivers had a lot to say about it. Here, in Tucson, with 450,000 in The city itself they managed to get a light rail line from the University to Dt and to Menlo Park and it's free to ride! So, so glad I left conservative, Mormon influenced Las Vegas. The Democrats in Vegas are DINO's, Democrat in Name Only. In Tucson we have true blue Democrats!
About 8-9 years ago, I lived in Naked City for a couple of years at the Boston Gardens apartments when I was going through a tough financial circumstance. Terrible studio apartments (they're essentially brick ovens with no central A/C & wall mounted fans that don't much in 110 degree heat) with roach problems. But for $495/month, quick access to the Strip, & the new Stupak Recreation center right behind my apartment that I used extensively to weightlift & run some b-ball in, I made the most of it. There was 1 murder in NC that I knew of at that time. It would actually be a great idea to revitalize the area by tearing down the old & unsanitary apartments there & replacing them with modern affordable units. But perhaps they should also gut everything all together, go upscale, & take influence from what they've done at Symphony Park. The entire NC neighborhood needs a refresh, given it's prime location.
Revitalizing Naked City, yeah, good luck with that. When I was a teenager I used to buy drugs in that neighborhood, pot, mushrooms and LSD, the good fun drugs. Nowadays I’m guessing the only drugs you’ll find in that neighborhood are the bad drugs, meth and prescription meds.
The only way we will win next election is to keep borders open to make migrants voters. It doesnt matter if they are straight out of prison from their country. Nevada has been a sanctuary state for years the teamsters make sure of that. Vote #631
The one major problem of atomic golf, it faces west. That means people are going to be hitting the ball with the sun in their eyes during sunset, in the middle of summer. Good luck with that.
“Nah I don’t know nu… wait $42k?? Oh yeah cuhhh they got 9’s, Aks, bombs!!! And tanks n shiiiit! All dat they hella strapped Lee” that’s all I woulda said
When I see this area on TV Or pictures ~ that song comes to mind “ talking about the ghetto” I didn’t realize the stratosphere area was just like ghetto Oakland.
I once got off at their Walgreens or whatever pharmacy is on Sahara & Las Vegas Boulevard? A lady asked if I could give her a cigarette, I replied I don’t smoke, she then started offering me sexual advances ~ I just jumped in my car and got the hell out of there…..

Its old and busted now. Only middle aged people like Vegas and it's just because of nostalgia for them.

I’m at the Strat and experienced some concerning elements on those streets.

Nah I’d like to keep my job thank you very much. Someone’s got to pay for your food stamps.
That area has been shit for

Ghetto area
Not going to work. Naked city has gone to shit. It will not get any better.
Didn’t you hear what Alan Fisher said, don’t stop density.
It’s the hood
Get rid of naked city
Exactly...why does it still exist?
Where would the current residents go?
Didn’t you saw Alan Fisher’s video?
