This is what ultimate should be man, two characters neither of which are really top tier just playing a hype set. No stalling or camping or timing out, just playing the game

camping is playing the game, it's just playing slow. I don't really see a problem with playing slow, shit is reliable

@@silvos8903 Yeah this! Obviously no player is just gonna constantly run forwards and expect to win, sometimes you do gotta slow the game down, space yourself, and wait for an opportunity, but it ain't really camping when you get back into the fight pretty quickly
I give mad props to that Zelda player, the playstyle is amazing and they have massive potential.

Zelda has:
- reflector that covers her entire hitbox
- good oos, all around reaching attack that sends upward, good for combo
- active down air that can spike

With these loose conections any character can be melee falco lol. They don't resemble each other at all.

I totally forgot how fun this game could be to watch. All the sonic, game and watch, min min’s, Steve’s, etc. that are cluttering the top are so insanely boring to watch.
I’m surprised fighting games haven’t taken the Pokemon route were only characters within the same tier are allowed to fight one another.

Weird renders. I'm not against them, but something seems kinda off with them due to the lighting (reminds me of Source Filmmaker).
Those up-b confirms Alo is trying to do is so unreliable cause you have to guess the DI. Better to go for up airs for damage or mix ups if hes expecting the up air. But good stuff from both of them
I hate DI!!! Honestly they shouldn’t have made that a rule it just makes combos complicated and makes the game more campy
@@Nobody45602 I think I disagree with it making the game more campy. I've played more traditional 2D fighters like street fighter, MK1, and Dragonball fighterz and you can argue that those games are more campy because they don't have directional influence. With DI you give the opponent a chance to escape your combos or a chance to survive longer. This means it's rarer for you to have a touch of death combo because you can mix up your DI. This means it's less risky to approach cause there's less fear of an insta death if you mess up.
With games that don't have DI they tend to be more combo heavy because you can't influence your DI and your chance to escape. It relies on your opponents' skill to complete their full combo. This means that there is gonna be more footsies in neutral and both players are going to camp more and throw out more poking moves. The risk for approaching is greater cause you can die from one mistake with a ToD combo.
So while it's up to preferance on whether you like games with DI or not, DI does have its benefits and creates a different type of game.
Me personally I like having DI, but again it's my preference and I'm not a big fan of putting my controller down for the rest of a match if I mess up cause I can't escape a combo.
