well yes for pushing stuff short distances they are great... but for say moving a mointain 10 miles excavators-dumptrucks does a FASTER JOB, USING WAY LESS FUEL. hehe

They are pushing it to a pile so that a wheeled loader can feed the processing plant
On my that we had we had 15 d11 pushing side by side so it took us long to push this out of the way

One is using the ripper to loosed the material. They are ripping and dozing sand and gravel deposits

Depending on the material, a scraper is better. If you are doing a haul of ten miles, conveyor
