- In today's TROLLED episode, we take a look at a level called '404 error: iq address not found' by Mick! I had never played a troll level by Mick before but I plan on playing everyone he makes after playing this one. This level was a masterpiece in trolling!

I’m confused. He wasn’t able to get the red coin at the beginning and said he didn’t think they were important but ended up having all the coins in the end. What did I miss? 🧐🧐
Same, I looked at each one he collected, and doesn't seems like he revised that one.
@@XxOsirisxX pay close attention to the layouts of rooms. I think the first red coin he collects later due to some screen scroll magic. He visits it from below.
Im not 100% but I think its how it was done.
I think there was glitch to spawn more red coins, though I dont know if it has been patched. But yeah I don't see when he collected that red coin, even with the screen scrolling it seems unlikely

Offscreen "troll magic" abusing autoscroll, I'm sure. If you felt like watching through the whole vid I'm sure in one of the phantom offscreen sections the red coin counter will mysteriously go up.
The down + Y at the beginning of the level was a link move, indicating that you need the master sword to pass.

DGR, I don't think you realize that every level can only have one checkpoint in the main world and one in the subworld. You just treated the back-to-CP1 like it was actually a CP2, but that would mean 2 checkpoints in the "water" subarea, which is impossible. You collected CP2 under one of those beeps and got CP1ed.

For those wondering, the 1st red coin we see from the beginning of the level was collected at 19:08 following events that started with the kicking of the shell at 19:01. Red coins 7 & 8 are collected after kicking the big buzzy shell.

I don't know how these creators do it. I'm guessing all 3 pipes lead to the same "poop chute" area, and there is a 2nd checkpoint hidden, but it takes you back to reusable CP1. And then somehow, it is different 3 times? It has to be from the On/Off state...or at least the Boot changed the state to Red.
It just baffles me how they make these!

That's a Chinese Internet slang. 一点点 (the "correct" phrase) means a little. People make jokes about how little "a little" usually is so they replaced 一 (one) with a homophone 亿 (a hundred million).

I've been seeing more of these troll levels where it seems like you have to die to win- but the game requires th at a level be beatable from the start and from each checkpoint. How are they pulling this off?

So, to answer your question/confusion about whether or not the rooms you were seeing were the same or not, it seems that the level creator was using a glitch that allows you to control the state of a level based on the number of Red Coins a player has. By making you take deaths/repeat sections that also forced you to (or denied your ability to) pick up red coins, he could make the same section of level behave differently by controlling what can and cannot load into the level at any given time. It's a really cool feature to design around, especially since it's based on how the game counts red coins you currently have rather than any actual glitches, so it's never going to get broken by a bugfix or update.
Why does he let people vote on the choices in a troll level, doesn't it take all the fun out of trying to decide what will kill you?
