As a black man who graduated from HS and saw TNH within a week of each other it is so good to see a black couple who loves SW and it's rare as F??K. I am so glad that I found your channel.
23:51 A lot of reactors are saying the same thing. So there are others who wanted to see Ezra of old too, BUT Ezra has been living in exile for nearly 10 years without a lightsaber. Thrawn lost what? Half his forces? It wasn't made clear if that was Ezra's doing or a combination of Ezra, time, and the trip here, but we do know that Thrawn gave up his pursuit of Ezra, and that at best he was just keeping tabs on Ezra's location as best he could. Is using a lightsaber like a bicycle? I don't think so. What was Ahsoka doing on her ship inside the mouth of the Purrgil, and what did Anakin's hologram recording tell Ahsoka to do? He told her to keep practicing those forms and that that practice would help her during the Clone Wars when facing opponents like Dooku, Grievous, and Asaaj Ventress. Just like a martial artist should practice his/her kata regularly, I think the same is true with Jedi/Sith. Ahsoka did well on her own after the fall of the Jedi and during the time of the Empire, but she wasn't always going up against seasoned Force users--she was better than most she came across. Baylon was someone from the past, her past, someone who knew her deepest, darkest secret, something she buried deep, and when he threw it in her face during their battle, it unsettled her, made all those feelings she thought she had buried resurface. Ahsoka was unsure of herself, even more than when Din asked her to teach Grogu. We didn't understand her frame of mind at the time, but she didn't want to teach Grogu or anyone, really, because she feared her own fate and what she herself might pass on to others--isn't that why she inevitably walked away from Sabine? Ahsoka needed that encounter with Anakin, she had been running from her past for so long that she failed to realize that she too was more than Anakin's teachings. Ahsoka was firmly rooted in the ideals and teachings of the Jedi--she was doing Jedi business while living in exile. Nevertheless, she couldn't face her last few days as a Jedi, not until now, after she had made peace with it. Ahsoka finally stopped trying to survive and started living again, she broke out her master's gifts and embraced his teachings again, trying to relearn all the things she had forgotten or didn't want to use out of fear. I know some online are wondering if she ever showed her videos to Luke, but I highly doubt that she did, as she was ashamed of that past until recently. Maybe she will someday, after seeing how quickly things are starting to fall apart, I'm starting to think she may never get the chance to. Anyway, if Ezra didn't have a lightsaber with him after all this time, he very likely wouldn't have been as good with one as he was before he left Lothal. I think his performance would have been akin to a retired baseball player or golfer picking up a bat or club after ten years of retirement. Sure, he'd remember how to use it, but would he be as accurate as he was the day he left? We can see challenges on TV with retired athletes trying to play as they did, and some do okay, but we can all see that age and time away from the sport has taken its toll. Another solid reaction! I can't wait to see how this wraps up, but I'm not expecting it to be a completed story. This is leading to a movie! The quality of story and cinematics was a huge step up from previous Disney Plus shows, just like Andor was. Dave Filoni has a movie in the works and I suspect it is going to be very heavily Thrawn-related. I hope it's a trilogy, but I'd be fine with one great story. I don't know how Dave is going to fix the damage Rian Johnson did to Star Wars, but he's off to a great start! Rebels already introduced a do-over mechanism, and it keeps getting teased, the World Between Worlds. While it would fix a lot of things, I sort of hope he doesn't do that. This new galaxy, the Night Sisters, video games, live-action stories, and animated stories are probably enough to fix the shortcomings of the later trilogies, look at how much the Clone Wars did for the OT.
Baylan has underestimated Ahsoka. She wasn’t trying to defeat him, she just needed to get around him to get to the fight location. Zeb is training recruits as indicated in Sabine’s conversation with Ezra. I don’t think the mines harmed the pergill but scared them off. These creatures traverse hyperspace through their own biology and the force, those mines had nothing on the space whales.😊 Another great reaction guys. It is always more enjoyable when reactors actually understand and are well versed in the content so as always, kudos to you.
Love the reaction! A couple of thoughts. "If" Baylon's character continues forward (due to death of Ray Stevenson), I think at some point they will bring back Luke to deal directly with him and Thrawn. I eventually foresee a Luke & Ahsoka tag team coming to the screen, either in this series, Mano Season 4 or in Dave Filoni's movie. I also believe the events in this series will bleed over into Mandalorian Season 4. Production also seems to be foreshadowing the return of Leia in live action. Personally, I think they will recast Leia which while require them to cast the right actress. Some have suggested Carrie Fisher's daughter but she doesnt really favor Carrie so we will see. I'm also intrigued to see how Ezra's future moving forward will play out. Even though he trained as a Bokken Jedi with/Kanaan, he's never really experienced formal, Jedi Temple style training nor it's history. Once he steps on the Jedi Starship with Ahsoka, he will be exposed to that world through Ahsoka & Huyang. I'm interested to see how he reacts. Those little space mines didn't hurt the Pergill LOL. Those beings destroyed Star Destroyers. They aren't faded whatsoever. Also, I think the Pergill will help Ezra, Sabine and Ahsoka, possibly Shin get back to the Star Wars galaxy. Remember, Ezra knows the frequency to summons them through space. We saw this in the Rebels season finale. I think he will do this again to secure a ride home in pursuit of Thrawn. Lastly, if you recall Mandalorian Season 3 finale, Gideon and the other Imperial Warlords are anticipating Thrawn's return. They mentioned a "Project Necromancer" (reference to "The Hobbit" Trilogy) which leads me to believe this involves the cargo Thrawn is loading on his ship. Looks as if Thrawn and the Nightsisters may be transporting an army of the dead. Exciting times! Looking forward to your next reaction of the Season Finale!

The main reason that Ezra didn't go home already what was that he had no ship to use to get up to the whales.
Baylan got carjacked... or, wolf-bat-dog-horse-jacked
