Too often I find 3D printed Warhamme models are the same monopose model copy and pasted over and over again. And to that I say, no more! You have unlimited customization at your fingertips, here's how to take advantage of it. Make your own personal models that will be the envy of Facebook and Reddit, and all while never even touching Blender or ZBrush.

Interesting. I've been printing them as individual parts and gluing them together when they don't fail. This looks easier.

I mean, some of that might be necesary when painting, but this takes away a lot of work
You finally inspired me to 3d-kitbash and start a Black Vipers Primaris arms made out of Puppetswar parts mixed with Alpha Legion parts 😀
This is an awesome kitbash tutorial. Very basic and easy to understand. This is a lot less intimidating than feeling like I need to take a weekend to learn blender to be able to kitbash.
yeah a bit of learning blender and you can make "full" custom parts, tbf its still basic 3d modelling since no shaders /material data and so on are involved. just plain ol' mesh.

You don't need to merge all the components before exporting as srl? And is there a way of exporting just one model on the build plate? When ive tried it will export all models as one file and ha to delete all bar one to save.

If you drag and drop all the files for a particular model at once 3d builder will actually put it together for you. Saves trying to line everything up manually
Can you use STLs in the 3D builder program? Or do they have to be builder files?
Yes you can load stls files into 3d builder and manipulate them
