  • Float fishing for carp with waggler and controller floats. Graeme heads off to a day ticket lake that he has never fished before ,and takes a while to locate the occupants. But once he does its a Totally Awesome Fish-Fest, with action and tips aplenty...including freelining for Carp, and using either a Waggler float or larger controller float to reach wherever the Carp are. The tips are ideal for novice or beginner and the bait is as complicated as....A loaf of Bread !!!...Yes, it's old school success again as Graeme hooks a variety of Carp including some double figure fish....Put the kettle on and put you feet up in this film which is almost an hour long.

Did you ever try mixing sugar with your bread and you make dough balls mix sugar with a little water and make the bread like dough not too wet but just firm and sticky and you roll up a dough ball besides that you want to put on your hook you could take like three slices of bread with sugar and water mix it up in your head and make a firm like Play-Doh and there you have it take a piece and roll it up in your head and put it on your hook and it works perfectly God bless

Hi Graeme, i have used the waggler with floating bread for years with some success. A varient on your method is using a waggler and a bait band to hold a rolled up piece of bread fished 6-9 ins deep . This method has worked when everyone else is sitting behind their alarms waiting for something to happen This is my favourite style of fishing. I would say to anyone Give it a go.

This is a mistake i see all the time you set your drag to the wait you want it to release line at . Then you put your fingers on the spool to stop it from doing what it's designed for . ? I have seen people grabbing the spool to stop it all together . And then the line breaks or the hook pops . And then they always blame the line or the hook . Or any thing else for loosing the fish . When the real colpret is thier big fat hand on the spool . I have siad to many people the problem with your gear is the user And leave it at that . Because people on fishing shows all stop there drag from doing what it's designed to do and the old saying comes into play monkey see monkey do . Food for thought

Its great to see you fishing for Carp on light tackle exactly as I do, playing the fish well and having a fantastic scrap! I see so many Anglers Feeder Fishing for Carp and just hauling the fish straight in causing massive damage to the lips and mouths of these powerful fish. If they don't play the fish why do they bother going fishing at all? I prefer to use Rubber Float Stops to lock a Waggler, they don't fall off or damage the line!
