- Float fishing for carp with waggler and controller floats. Graeme heads off to a day ticket lake that he has never fished before ,and takes a while to locate the occupants. But once he does its a Totally Awesome Fish-Fest, with action and tips aplenty...including freelining for Carp, and using either a Waggler float or larger controller float to reach wherever the Carp are. The tips are ideal for novice or beginner and the bait is as complicated as....A loaf of Bread !!!...Yes, it's old school success again as Graeme hooks a variety of Carp including some double figure fish....Put the kettle on and put you feet up in this film which is almost an hour long.

Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and funny without knowing it,the blokes decent
He's a legend mate
Totally awesome 👍
That he knows what he is doing is reflected in the number of fish he catches and the number of subscribers who are on board.
How can someone possibly thumb a video down when the video just been put out and they couldn't possibly have watched it?
Some people are just pathetic enough to go out of there way to try bring people down no worth paying attention to
So annoying isn’t it, obviously some jealous twat
Some horrible person did that
Like, if you don’t like the video just go out of it, I watch Every single one of Graham’s videos. He’s a top top man
@@integraellie the person that thumbed it down couldnt have watched it.The video was up for 1 min and someone thumbed it down.I wasnt asking how to thumb down a video.
The most entertaining fishing program I ever watched. Graham is such a nice guy and doesn't get overly technical. Quite comical too.
Best fishing channel!! Love all the vids. 👍👍🐟
Lovely presentation...packed full of good tips! I have come back to fishing after a 30 year absence...videos like these make the experience and the likelihood of catching decent fish so much better...thank you!
I love watching ta fishing , it makes me laugh how my better half says "It's friday your uncle Graham will have put a new video up" 😂😂😂👊🎣
“Carp anglers, go back to your bedchairs” this is why WE LOVE TA FISHING!!!!!!!
Beautiful fish, congratulations your fishing was incredible, this place is very similar where I fish here in Brazil.👍🎣🐟😉
How can anyone dislike after hearing Greame cry after losing a fish.
Init they just do it for the sake of it they’re nasty little pricks
I love this channel... is it strange that I put on your vids late at night watch like half and fall asleep than to wake up in the morning to find I’m like 4-5 vids in
This show is like an oasis in a Sahara of bad news. It always brings a smile, some fun, and i feel better after watching than I did before. Thank you!

Love the content, watch all the videos! Just moved back to Pompey and can’t wait to get my sea fishing gear and get the line wet again!
I've just watched this video for the second time without advertisement thoroughly enjoyed.
Loved the video! Who is still watching in 2021?
Did you ever try mixing sugar with your bread and you make dough balls mix sugar with a little water and make the bread like dough not too wet but just firm and sticky and you roll up a dough ball besides that you want to put on your hook you could take like three slices of bread with sugar and water mix it up in your head and make a firm like Play-Doh and there you have it take a piece and roll it up in your head and put it on your hook and it works perfectly God bless
Hi Graeme, i have used the waggler with floating bread for years with some success. A varient on your method is using a waggler and a bait band to hold a rolled up piece of bread fished 6-9 ins deep . This method has worked when everyone else is sitting behind their alarms waiting for something to happen This is my favourite style of fishing. I would say to anyone Give it a go.
Thanks Graham for the tips and inspiration, keep up the great work 👍
This Yank is learning English from your videos. Come To Texas some time to catch big Buffalo over fifty pounds. Tight lines to you and Mike !
US: Dammit. Another damn carp. Why don't these things just piss off already?
ENG: oi another carp! huzzah huzzah!
Love the videos guys, keep it up. You crack me up and some great tips 😄
Ahhh this man is an angling angel, probably been fishing even longer than he has and find myself thinking half the time 'Oh good, its not just me then' and the other half 'Why the hell didn't I know this?' Graeme you are a god sent to us poor angling sinners to straighten us out.
So great for beginners
I went fishing today thought I'd try abit of free lining with a floating pellet and got a 15 pound common carp along with 2 other carp around 10 pounds
Absolutely Superb Vid Graeme awesome indeed - Some Lovely mirrors .must have been a quality day ...i am most jealous!! One in the eye for the Bivvy Brigade waiting for 1 bite. Love tuning in and watching these , give me a bit of inspiration. Cheers !! Nick
I think you must the most experienced fisherman in the country. Your knowledge has no bounds and every video is a pleasure to watch. Congratulations for educating all of us....!!!
Super filming (apart from motorway traffic) looks like very pretty lakes. Again even though you aim your tips at beginners, there is plenty us older anglers can learn from as well. Your sense of humour just cracks me up. Not only do you take the trouble to show us the lakes, you include some of the plant life as well. Thank you so much for posting and you and the family keep well.
This looks like Broadlands.
It is
Awesome, I've heard there are some big pike in there would like to see if Graham could get one.
@@xJustviewingx yeh they did have I used to fish it 20 years ago I believe they still only have it running from Oct time for pike
@Black.Flaps .Dont.Match it's in Hampshire
Привет Дружище🤗Отличная Рыбалочка👍Good fishing 💪

This guy is a Legend! 👍
Thanks for taking us with you. I enjoyed your day out for sure. Infectious passion for your environment.
This guy is a breath of fresh air! Just got into fishing again and this guy is why brilliant!i salute you sir
Are you guy still allowed to use bread as bait?? Most lakes in Ireland do not allow it as it's apparently bad for the carp ??
Thanks for the tip with the marshmallows.. I will buy some when I'm going fishing 😎👏👏👏👍
Excellent tutorials Grehme nice condition fish keep up the good work
Nice fishing
Graeme your a tonic which must be taken at least once a week.
Where is the lakes as I would like to try them out as I only fish one which is Edenbrook fisheries
Where is the lakes as I would like to try them out as I only fish one which is Edenbrook fisheries
So how many wildfould was 😂 culed from the lake to use so much bread😅,
Getting back into fishing after a 31 year absence. I'm enjoying watching Graham's videos lads. 👍
Same lol
Great vid, keep em coming.
Is this the John Wilson Avon rod that came with a couple of different tips ? Great rod, I caught loads of fish on my one before I finally busted it to pieces. Wish I still had it.
I thought it was an old Fibatube. But you're write i guess.
Still got mine, don’t use it as much as I should
I got one, was considering the 1.75 test curve but glad i got the 1.25
Mine are the originals with just 1 full top section as the quivertip. I believe later versions came with shorter multi tips ? Prior to these (1970's) I did indeed use a pair of black glass Fibatube's. Again, they caught loads of fish.Through action, quite soft.
@@TAFishing Thanks for your reply. Was a good rod for the money. Distinctive green with red whippings. John Wilson R.I.P died a bit early. Keep catching them with it and thanks for the shows.
Câu cá cũng thích nhỉ rất vui đc làm quen
Awesome as usual buddy… cheers Chris & Sam
Sorry greham I'm afraid I can't continue watching this film utube are putting to many adverts on ur film Sorry mate
Don't worry , its not a problem. There will be other films, but I wouldn't have any idea what ads go onto them .
Pedegree chum mixer killer floater bait
What grat fisherman. 😅
That's the way to put carp bk in top man
good fishing graeme, you need the patient of a saint to cast out a dunked crust, mine always fall off😁 not sure i could use marshmallows as a replacement, they are far too nice for the carp👍😁
He treat the fish better than what I treat r lass
"Whippo! Flash strike!"
This is a mistake i see all the time you set your drag to the wait you want it to release line at . Then you put your fingers on the spool to stop it from doing what it's designed for . ? I have seen people grabbing the spool to stop it all together . And then the line breaks or the hook pops . And then they always blame the line or the hook . Or any thing else for loosing the fish . When the real colpret is thier big fat hand on the spool . I have siad to many people the problem with your gear is the user And leave it at that . Because people on fishing shows all stop there drag from doing what it's designed to do and the old saying comes into play monkey see monkey do . Food for thought
Interesting observation there rov. So I ask how do you slow the fish when it's running towards a snag? this is when I use my fat right hand on the spool.
This video should have 0 dislikes
can i ask what lakes are you at please
Was that Broadlands lake?
Hell, their carp, put some sweet corn on and they will bite. All this bread stuff is not necessary. As is chuming, its all busy work.
You always go home late Graham because you love doing videos for all of us to get some brilliant tips and you enjoy your fishing! Another fantastic video from you. Keep them coming Graham. 😉
I find soggy bread terrible. I found ciabatta bread works incredibly well, holds together for a longtime even after a soaking. Awesome fishing.
An instinctive fisherman, reminds me of my Grandad. Informal, relaxed, expert…. Subscribed!
Finally someone who snips off the tan ends in the bag. Hats off to you mate. I get so angry when i see people just snip them off on tue grass and leave them
i love surface fishing with bread in the summer months, but not many places let you use it now. my best is 18 carp all over 10lb in one day and a couple of skimmers. try broken pieces of desert waffle they go down a treat aswell. keep mixing it up so they dont get used to the same hook bait
Loving your work Graham, totally awesome show from a totally awesome presenter 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Great videos most uk fishing videos are boring to watch with no atmosphere but your videos are really enjoyable to watch keep it up 👍
Its great to see you fishing for Carp on light tackle exactly as I do, playing the fish well and having a fantastic scrap! I see so many Anglers Feeder Fishing for Carp and just hauling the fish straight in causing massive damage to the lips and mouths of these powerful fish. If they don't play the fish why do they bother going fishing at all? I prefer to use Rubber Float Stops to lock a Waggler, they don't fall off or damage the line!
Graham, would you not consider heavier gear with that much weed and snags about? Ive got a similar lake near me and I cant get near landing anything on my avon setup. Ive had no choice but to use my heavy carp gear with a 2.5lb tc rod and 12lb line....even then some cause me some problems
can u teach an old dog new tricks?, doesn't matter anyway graeme you seem to know all the best tricks that younger people don't, it's always apparent what a great angler u are, the old ways are the best it's called wisdom.
Nice1 Graeme..i broke my best reel a couple of days ago..i cant go untill next week..abit depressed by it..you video will help me..id love to fish with you.
Video liked before even watching as always. Another good video.
Can you try a trip catching carp on beetroot or chunks of garlic cloves... keep up the great work.
Nice one Graham, good informative video for the novice such as myself. I assume this was filmed before covid as most places are ridiculous busy now and don't allow anglers to move between swims.
Alot of American sportsman are reconsidering carp as a game fish. ocean fishing is costly to the wallet
BY far the best fishing channel i subscribe too, even the wife who has zero interest in fishing watches along.
Now that was some totally awesome fishing thanks graham n the team 😉😂👊🏻💯
Great vid
Hi Graham, just wanna say how much you've helped out on my personal fishing with all your tips etc. I've been binge watching your videos as i'm getting back into it now!
Hi Graeme, for surface fishing do I need a floater line or can I use normal? Many thanks
I just use the same general monofilament nylon line...Maxima Chameleon 6lb for average Carp, maybe 15lb for bigger Carp or snaggy areas/weeds etc.
@@TAFishing thanks for the advice
Thanks for the fishing tips...much respect from Canada!!!
I am going fishing Tuesday first time since lockdown going to give the bread a try
