Shunting Shell Siding at Sandown in 2005 about 3 years before it closed. As always the road traffic was always a constant battle as people constantly ran the lights and bells.
I have always had a fascination for that line and it's many siding. This is the first time I have seen an 81 shunting the fuel sidings. It is really sad to see the way it is today. I recently found some 90s footage that is in the pile waiting to be put on YT.
I cannot say, here. Social media policies, put in place by my employer, are the reason. It's been nice, talking to you, Bill Nerdson. I hope to speak with you again.
Fuck me drunk, the people running the bells! Crazy, entitled truckies who think the road (world) belongs to them. Probably projecting some jealousy complex about not driving real vehicles ... ;)

Don't forget dirty dusty Jack Seatons yard too...it may have been closed by 2005.
I remember shunting bp as well as shell
The last fuel train ran, on the 20/1/2010, ask me how I know, Paul.
you drive it?
No, I drove the one, before it.

Stop and proceed orders for the truckies, without the stop bit!
