I saw Doc perform in 2004 @ Bonnaroo. It was one of my favorite sets of the fest. It makes me smile big and wide to see Billy come into the scene bringing these classic tunes to everyone. I'm a big fan. Thanks Billy!
Go listen to The Farwells cover Little Sadie. They're a small duo from canada that did great things with some of the old tunes. Honestly, it's one of the best covers I've heard of the tune other than Doc.
Never delete this video please, the way William plays it here, is the best version in my oppinion on youtube 💚 Thank you very very much ✌🏼 The Netherlands 🇱🇺
The Farwells did it well. I know someone will disagree but I think it's a superior version. They also touched on Look up, look down that lonesome road in another cover that I consider to be the closest the thing to Doc inspired. Just one mams opinion
This version of Clarence Ashley's Little Sadie is one of the best I've EVER HEARD. This kid is a supernatural talent...
Hedy West does a great version. Blessings
He is so young, and such a badass. Can only hope he lasts as long as Doc.
He’s so cool. Great rendition. Of a timeless song. Love The Sadie’s version, too ❤

Four reviews for billy fn strings on any song is a little sad to me but I wanna give him a big thanks for keeping the old style in rounds 👍
Dude. Respect from western Maryland.
Billy, God of the strings!
