My mother had ALS and she went to be with the Lord in 2004. Hear is some scriptures I would like for you to read , I know they will bring some comfort to you and your wife. Isaiah 53: 4-5 , Psalm 118 :17, Ps. 107: 19-20 ,Ps. 121 , Jeremiah 30:17,Mark 5:22-43 , there is nothing impossible with God, find comfort in these.
God is the one that makes miracles happen. He uses scientists and other people to help individuals. What ever you have accomplished is because of God! He is the reason why we breath everyday. I pray Steve Gleason fights through this and a cure is found.
