And then Ava... God they really fucked up her character she was bearable until when she got Maya killed and Instead of accepting she is the one that got her killed she acts like it's Lilith's fault and is never reprimanded and only rewarded for her actions and at the end Lilith makes her the leader... Ava this brat who has only caused issues. She caused one of the best members to die because she didn't follow orders, proceeded to scream at Lilith saying she caused Maya's death when it was intact Ava's fault, never apologises and admits fault and she becomes the leader over Tanis? Over Ellie? Over Tina brick and Mordecai? Instead of choosing ANY older standing members she chooses this problematic child that has only caused problems to become the leader of the crimson lance. And to remind you Lilith has only known her for about a week at best.

I actually used to really dislike borderlands, but my mind has been awoken to looter shooters and now they’re pretty damn decent, big fan of the skills too.

Unlike the 1 game the 2 make the raid boss fun and there more then one boss you just have to play the dlc and that should have it own video on it. If you don’t wanna play all of them then just play tiny Tina bunker and baddass. I promised you will love it.
This is quite literally my favorite game of all time. I played it all as the dlcs were coming out and the support was constant for the three years that we were getting constant updates. What a cool perspective of a totally fresh playthrough!
One of the little things that I loved was the attention to detail. Places felt actually lived in. All the clutter, all the industrial pieces, all the random junk and cases felt like it was actually somewhere that rotating groups of people came through, tried to build their lives and consolidate power, and got pushed out by other groups. The level designers were pros.
I tend to just spend like 5-8 minutes hitting stuff at random until I finally spot a pattern to solve it. I can never remember the actual pattern to get it done quickly
Quick tip: next playthrough u can chose to not grab the things for tanks on the mission Doctors Orders, and farm those boxes where that little dude jumped out for four lootmidgets and farm legendaries!

Borderlands 2 has 3 missions you should never turn in. 1. Bonerfarts, all bullymongs are now renamed in game 2. Doctor's Orders, be careful not to pick up the one in the box and loot enemies will always spawn in the 4 boxes 3. The Beard Makes The Man, keep the Grog Nozzle for healing
if you stay until the end of the credits at the end of borderlands 1 you can see that the angel is broadcasted to you by a hyperion satellite There is a lot of lore that seems to don't make sense in borderlands games , but when you pay really close attention and do multiple playthrough you realize much of the stories make sense together between the quests the dlcs and the multiple games Also did you do the BL1 dlcs and BL2 dlcs ? they are really worth it and are part (more or less) of the story (just avoid moxxi's underdome if you just want to play for story, it's like the arenas in BL2)
slag is only really necessary in ultimate vault hunter mode due to slag doing iirc x3 damage instead of x2 in both normal and true vault hunter modes. its pretty much a requirement to get through ultimate vault hunter mode unless you either know what you are doing or just have an insanely op build/weapon, like unkempt herald which can be obtained early game and is 1 of the best weapons in the entire game. in ultimate vault hunter mode enemies get a 4x hp boost and regen hp.

The DLC is a set up for borderlands 3. I'll also suggest you play tiny Tina's assault on dragon keep(it's not required for the next game, but it's beloved DLC by the fans). There's another game called borderlands the pre sequel. This game focuses on handsome Jack & his rise to power in the Hyperion corporation. I'll love to see more videos on Borderlands since it's one of my favorite franchises ever
From what I remember you have to be careful visiting the DLC areas in BL2 as it locks your level to the first visit (correct?) so be careful with that, even if you just want a look at the area. Is BL3 any good? I'm trying to decide on Ultimate but heard a few bad things about it.
@MrSpeekerv1.0 From my experience, some DLCs do lock to your level, but its not gapped(i think its 5 levels, so i won't worry too much). BL3 has amazing gameplay, but the story isn't as good as the gameplay, so don't suspect much. "Ultimate"... is that the Commander Lilith DLC your talking about? If so the dlc is okay, not the best, but also not the worst

@@lletas. Hi, thanks. I eventually bought BL3 Ultimate last week on sale. Yup the writing is unbelieveably bad. It's like they hired writers that do those terrible childrens cartoons where everyone just yells nonstop garbage at each other. I went Zane and having a great time gunplay-wise. Just took out the Katagawa ball (total nightmare lol) after about 5 attempts and losing all my money respawning. Sad to say it just dropped me a load of underwhelming loot. Spent 20mins running around the area looking for a great drop that didn't occur....After all that! Was nothing in the lost loot bank either. WTF? Great shooter game though. Would definitely recommend.
This is by far the best first run on BL2 I've ever seen on youtube, most people tend to just bulldoze through the game without trying to enjoy it and end up severely under leveled in every part of the game. It was so nice and refreshing to see someone take their time and actually do side quests instead of just sprinting to the next main story mission.
Borderlands 1 and 2, have some of the most brutal storytelling and i absolutely love it! When i first stumbled upon the first game, i was hooked right way. It was by pure coincedence i tried it out at a "pc café" while gaming wtih some friends and boy am i glad i gave it a try.
Just brings back memories of highschool where my buds and I would get home and smash this thing out. TOO many hours to count, TOO many baddass ranks to care, and enough re-playthroughs to make you sick.
Axton and salvador main here, i have easily 20,000 hours in bl2, for an easy xp, money, ridrock and gear farm before leaving claptraps house go to each of the dlc's. On the fight for sanctuary dlc only stay there for less than 2 mins before the second cutscene starts, save, quit, repeat. let mordy take out the soldiers for xp. Go back to the main story at roughly level 15 after blitzing through the hunger games and mercenary day dlcs and farm savage lee for an unkempt harold (dpuh is the main one you want) it will carry you through about 20 levels
I recently decided to go back and play bl2 since I was like legit 11. Played as maya and got a killer class mod that increases smg damage; seems solid. Issue is it also reduces smg accuracy. So my gun hits hard, but practically never hits. So that's fun.

I remember always talking to my friends in middle school how great it would be if they made an MMO pretty much but with guns where bosses drop loot, quests and skill trees and one day watching toonami late at night and seeing them advertise this game. Honestly don’t know how happiness I would have missed out on if I never found this game and I’m glad I’ve been privileged enough to play literally over 10,000 hours on this game.
Small note on any bugs/glitches you may find in the prior BL games leading up through BL3: Gearbox doesn't actively work on patches for any of the main series BL games anymore, as after a certain point they declare the game finished and start work on the next release. This is evidenced by the last-noted patch notes for each game within the character select/main menu screen, and for BL3 specifically the last patch was in 2021. I don't recall BL2's last patch date offhand, but that should tell ya how long it's been since Gearbox deemed it necessary to patch BL2.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend doing the DLC's for BL2. There are hunter packs which are pretty small. I consider Digistruct Peak separate from them all because it raises your level cap to Overpowerd 8, also called OP8. Its just essentially level 80. Then you have the big ones. Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. The Hunter packs are alright, they can range from a 5/10 to a 7-8/10. A couple can drag on. Campaign of Carnage is probably a 7.5/10. Captain Scarlett is probably a 8-8.5/10. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is a phenomenal 9.5-10/10. Its honestly my 2nd favorite dlc of all time. It loses out to Shivering Isles from TES Oblivion, but only barely.
This game was a saviour for me during covid. I was dealing with horrible depression (multiple admissions to the hospital, government mandated therapy, etc) but this game helped keep me distracted. I beat UVHM on every character 😅
33:13, I played BL2 on day one with two friends, within half an hour I was like "so...we all agree Angle's a Siren right?" They disagreed. Make sure to play the Assault on Dragon's Keep DLC too. It's really good.
I genuinely believe Borderlands 2 will go down in history as being one of the best of the best, in the realm of Super Metroid, Ocarina of Time, Symphony of the Night, Chrono Trigger, etc.
So many easter eggs... For example the one in the dust that you get from Loggins (Kenny Loggins sang Danger Zone on the Top Gun soundtrack. In the movie there was a volleyball scene where the actors are all shirtless - hence the guys that you have to kill at the end of the mission are called Shirtless Men, and they all look like Val Kilmer who played Iceman in Top Gun. So many hidden Vault Symbols to find, so many challenges, so many pop culture references and such great writing, as well as one of the most perfectly written villains in gaming history. This, as well as the game play, legendaries being rare and no agendas being pushed...just a great game with some seriously dark as well as funny shit going on. Will never be another game like it.

You should always headshot Goliath's so you can have them go berserk then you trick them into killing their comrades so they level up after which they give greater loot and experience.

@@varehen and just don't forget to play borderlands the prequel before 3 it a great borderlands game that we'll short and has some issues mainly in my opinion quest and level scaling you differently want to do all the side quests you can there isn't that many of them and you definitely will need the XP for the main story and the one story dlc it has that the same logic applies but it fun it new mechanics are fun not overly tedious and the final bosses are great and really feel like final bosses and satisfying to bet when you bet them and the main story and dlc is so short that you can probably do the dlc right after finishing the main story in one video You may want to play tales from the borderlands 1 cus there character's from that game you will need to be familiar with for 3 it also kinda connects to the prequel as a tales of game it generally more story driving and the characters are definitely not as bad ass as the vault hunters from other games in the universe but it a good game with good characters

The hammerlock sniper from the bullymong quest is ultimately superior to the shotgun claptrap gives you… but claptrap ends up wearing the hair as a mohawk for the majority of the game. Making it almost worth it 😂

Just brings back memories of highschool where my buds and I would get home and smash this thing out. TOO many hours to count, TOO many baddass ranks to care, and enough re-playthroughs to make you sick.
Axton and salvador main here, i have easily 20,000 hours in bl2, for an easy xp, money, ridrock and gear farm before leaving claptraps house go to each of the dlc's. On the fight for sanctuary dlc only stay there for less than 2 mins before the second cutscene starts, save, quit, repeat. let mordy take out the soldiers for xp. Go back to the main story at roughly level 15 after blitzing through the hunger games and mercenary day dlcs and farm savage lee for an unkempt harold (dpuh is the main one you want) it will carry you through about 20 levels

I recently decided to go back and play bl2 since I was like legit 11. Played as maya and got a killer class mod that increases smg damage; seems solid. Issue is it also reduces smg accuracy. So my gun hits hard, but practically never hits. So that's fun.
Did the same as you man.. Played Borderlands 2 start to finish like a manace beging this year, this game is perfect.

There is indeed a relation between Captain Flynt and Baron Flynt, they’re brothers, you can also fight Captain Flynt’s son in one of the DLCs, and you can play as the 3rd Flynt brother, Zane, in 3

borderlands 2 is my favorite game of all time. a bit sad you didn't find a certain blocky easter egg. I would also love to see another video of you running through the DLCs.
I remember always talking to my friends in middle school how great it would be if they made an MMO pretty much but with guns where bosses drop loot, quests and skill trees and one day watching toonami late at night and seeing them advertise this game. Honestly don’t know how happiness I would have missed out on if I never found this game and I’m glad I’ve been privileged enough to play literally over 10,000 hours on this game.
Small note on any bugs/glitches you may find in the prior BL games leading up through BL3: Gearbox doesn't actively work on patches for any of the main series BL games anymore, as after a certain point they declare the game finished and start work on the next release. This is evidenced by the last-noted patch notes for each game within the character select/main menu screen, and for BL3 specifically the last patch was in 2021. I don't recall BL2's last patch date offhand, but that should tell ya how long it's been since Gearbox deemed it necessary to patch BL2.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend doing the DLC's for BL2. There are hunter packs which are pretty small. I consider Digistruct Peak separate from them all because it raises your level cap to Overpowerd 8, also called OP8. Its just essentially level 80. Then you have the big ones. Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. The Hunter packs are alright, they can range from a 5/10 to a 7-8/10. A couple can drag on. Campaign of Carnage is probably a 7.5/10. Captain Scarlett is probably a 8-8.5/10. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is a phenomenal 9.5-10/10. Its honestly my 2nd favorite dlc of all time. It loses out to Shivering Isles from TES Oblivion, but only barely.
This game was a saviour for me during covid. I was dealing with horrible depression (multiple admissions to the hospital, government mandated therapy, etc) but this game helped keep me distracted. I beat UVHM on every character 😅

Make sure to play the Assault on Dragon's Keep DLC too. It's really good.
I genuinely believe Borderlands 2 will go down in history as being one of the best of the best, in the realm of Super Metroid, Ocarina of Time, Symphony of the Night, Chrono Trigger, etc.
So many easter eggs... For example the one in the dust that you get from Loggins (Kenny Loggins sang Danger Zone on the Top Gun soundtrack. In the movie there was a volleyball scene where the actors are all shirtless - hence the guys that you have to kill at the end of the mission are called Shirtless Men, and they all look like Val Kilmer who played Iceman in Top Gun. So many hidden Vault Symbols to find, so many challenges, so many pop culture references and such great writing, as well as one of the most perfectly written villains in gaming history. This, as well as the game play, legendaries being rare and no agendas being pushed...just a great game with some seriously dark as well as funny shit going on. Will never be another game like it.

@@varehen and just don't forget to play borderlands the prequel before 3 it a great borderlands game that we'll short and has some issues mainly in my opinion quest and level scaling you differently want to do all the side quests you can there isn't that many of them and you definitely will need the XP for the main story and the one story dlc it has that the same logic applies but it fun it new mechanics are fun not overly tedious and the final bosses are great and really feel like final bosses and satisfying to bet when you bet them and the main story and dlc is so short that you can probably do the dlc right after finishing the main story in one video
You may want to play tales from the borderlands 1 cus there character's from that game you will need to be familiar with for 3 it also kinda connects to the prequel as a tales of game it generally more story driving and the characters are definitely not as bad ass as the vault hunters from other games in the universe but it a good game with good characters

The hammerlock sniper from the bullymong quest is ultimately superior to the shotgun claptrap gives you… but claptrap ends up wearing the hair as a mohawk for the majority of the game. Making it almost worth it 😂
