Trackmaster Knockoff Diesel 10 Unboxing and First Run

Recently I picked up a Knockoff Diesel 10 for this specific video and to see if I could make a model out of this, watch me as I fumble and stumble about trying to give my in-depth overview of these clever bootleg. One thing I forgot to mention in the video is how the white wheels are basically just a "Monkey See Monkey Do" where each company has gone from Black wheels, to grey, light grey and then white, it's so strange and I don't think anybody else talks about it.

the knock-offs mainly use the same wheels, hence why d10 & the truck have spoke wheels since they’re the same they use for the normal engines and tenders (that actually use accurate spoke wheels). This is also why engines that shouldn’t have holes for side rods do.

If i ain't mistaken, these knockoffs don't have lead paint, only the legal amount like back in the day. The ones that DO have lead paint are the knockoff Wooden Railway ones, but take alongs and "fakemasters" are completely fine.

The truck's wheels seem to be from those standard spoked wheels used for the tenders and as the front wheels of most engines.

I do actually own the RC Diesel 10 no remote obviously but it’s so scary to see how similar they both look I don’t own a knockoff one so I can’t compare but they look pretty much the same to me despite the wheel colour and the colour of the stripes.

That weird sound that you're hearing that is normal on what these are called they're called flat drive units and they make this sound because the motor is compressed so it's straining

Edit: as for the truck I would use them just for some pyrotechnics and miniature explosives, I am not blowing up good toys btw.
Also an another edit: I might want to move the front wheel further up so that it’s aligned with the bogie spacing.

Edit: Because the TM2 Diesel 10 also has white wheels
