  • With recent stories about CTE and concussions in the headlines, medical experts are warning athletes who play contact sports to be mindful of their health.

The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) is not informing parents, guardians and student athletes of CTE, either and this needs to change. My son, Noah Green, suffered two known traumatic brain injuries in high school, inclusive of a skull fracture and concussion. Neither the NFHS, VHSL, which is one of their State Associations, or the high school informed anyone.
