久一貝 Engrish are influenced by the Subversives mostly but each member they have had brought their own style to the band so they don't have a real 'influence'. Bad Engrish started out covering Drunk Upstarts pretty much. Gord and Bram and Sal made it a real band and put in work every single day and night of some kind. Every single thing they have done they did themselves. Every single official Bad Engrish shirt has Gordies sweat directly in it. He is so DIY it's unreal. Does everything himself from a shoebox basement apartment he lives in off of Colfax and a shed! All Engrish records were sold for no more than a dollar over press cost! Gord does it all for punx, he makes no profit, zero. He just pours his whole life into it because punk is his life! If anyone really knew how hard everyone in that band has worked they couldn't say shit! You honestly really truly have no possible idea!To them it has nothing to do with Japan and sounding hip to the scene, and everything to do with forgetting how hard life really stomps on yer fuckin nuts!
