Riding The Istanbul Metro M4 Train

This is the M4 line. It's opened in 2012 with 19 stations. They're all equipped with Schindler elevators and escalators.

The trains are made by CAF. They accelerate smoothly and quickly but it take ages to stop. They are equipped with Thales's SelTrac system but they don't use it. The train on the video is an 8 car train. You can only see 8 car trains during peak hours.

Nice. This train is automated and one of the new lines in Istanbul Metro will have automated Mitsubishi trains. Will the trains in Helsinki be automated too?

Well, Helsinki's automatication was supposed to be ready in 2016 when the Länsimetro (West Metro) extension in Espoo opens. But Siemens and HKL undo their deal because Siemens's price overed the HKL's budget, and now we are in this situation. When the Länsimetro opens, all trains including the M300 ones, have driver. After the opening, HKL will find a new automatizer.
Btw, the "in future" is this year. The first M300's come this year. I didn't remember it.
