Marmaray: The Deepest Subway in Europe which Passes Under Bosphorus

This is the Marmaray line opened in 2013 operating between Kazlıçeşme and Ayrılık Çeşmesi in Istanbul. It passes under the Bosphorus. It's a 12km line and it takes 4 minutes to pass from Europe to Asia. My channel is no more an "Only Elevator" channel. I'll continue to film subways and trams in Istanbul according to the comments. This is my first attempt to film a subway train so feel free to comment.

Im from Australia and our trains are very old the city i live in Melbourne has 15 train lines you can look up melbourne trains

Since the traffic is overcrowded in Istanbul, I guess this metro line is very welcomed in daily life, especially during the rush hour.

More trains are needed. Longer trains are needed as well.
istanbul still need more trains is not enough at all from ataturk airport to a place called BEYLIKDUZU its a nightmare in Rush hour
I gonna film trains & subways too. But in Porvoo, here aren't any train traffic aymore (Expect freight trains from Kilpilahti oil refinery to Kerava) When Im in Helsinki, and I have time, I film some railtraffic. And, of course, great work! Do these more! :)
Thank you:) I'll try to film more subway videos. I want to film the trains too but we don't have them in Istanbul till late 2015. The only train you can get in Istanbul is the high speed train who goes to our capital, Ankara but the railway station is 60km from city center. Looking forward to see your train videos.

Surprised on this metro line going under the sea! It was taking too long to built this metro line. The trains have very good sound like an old style train.
In Athens they about to extend the line 3 stopping at Pireaus near the port so the station will be near the sea and could be very difficult. They still make the tunnels and may take until 2018 I think to finish.
Not bad for your first train video and I think you will make the next train videos way to better! You should see my channel, I have monstly trains expect lifts. We have new trains and stations opened in 2013!

Thank you for your comment. I don't know a lot about Athens but a train to Piraeus would be very good for the tourists who come with cruise ships. I'm watching your train videos and they are very good. I'll try to film like you but it's hard to film in super crowded places. In Istanbul, we also have some new lines opened in 2012 and 2013. The municipality is planning to build 300km of subway till 2019. If they manage to do it, i'll have a lot of new trains to film.

I am lıvıng ın Athens and Pireaus Kifisi line is a very old rapid city transıt line whihc passes from 2000 years old Roman Agora ! The newest stations are very nice in Athens i loved them. Agia Marina, Anthoupoli, peristeri ,Elliniko etc for example

Russia is not european and turkey is not european too. Both of them eurasian.
You are wrong. Border btw geographical Europe & Asia in Russia is at Ural Mountains/Yekaterinburg, not on the west russian border. So Saint-Peterburg subway is clearly European unlike Istanbul one.

The title says deepest subway under the Bosphorus. Those magnificent Russian subways are not under the Bosphorus Strait. Those qualifiers are tricky. Commercials in English use them all the time to exaggerate the truth.
