Kanaka Waiwai sung by seniors Kūhaʻo Regidor and Tealia Yamada | Beginning of the Year Convocation

ʻŌiwi leaders to lift our lāhui is the ultimate desired outcome at Kamehameha Hawaiʻi. And it was evident and on display at our Convocation this morning as two of our seniors stepped forward with a request to represent and share their talents with their peers and our kauhale through a beautiful mele.
Kaʻiwahoʻokelewaʻa seniors Kūhaʻo Regidor and Tealia Yamada asked Kahu Boshard if they could sing "Kanaka Waiwai" for our Beginning of the Year Convocation, and it was an easy "absolutely" in return.
