Russian tech is not good. India knows it very well specially with engines. Check how much IAF gets troubled with Russian jets, they require lot of maintenance, their engine life is less. China made engine based on Russian tech and see how bad they are, their stealth jet literally gives black smoke. This nonsense of 80% tech transfer is not understood by the lecturers or adminstrators. Always blah, blah blah. Demand 100% tech transfer with all parts made in India and tested 100% anything less than 100% is not OK even 99.9%. We have to develop more 1 agency who can develop jets. The stupid idea that only 1 agency works on that, no competition, delayed work, substandard work, easy to bribe / distrupt.
