  • In this video I will be as best I can how to mend you Red Dragon Dreadnought HEMA Sparring Gloves with the Chicago rivets Red Dragon provided to everyone who bought the first batch. It should be noted I'm an idiot and struggled to med these easily. And all though I heard from plenty of others who were likewise finding it very difficult I can't help but feel there must be an easier way that I'm just too dense to see.
That being said here is my full repair of the two broken thumbs using the new rivets and I hope this video helps you in your own mending.
Thanks to ‪@theknightshop8125‬ for the swift delivery of the replacement parts.
Thanks to MrLignja420 on Reddit for my channel banner.
Thanks to ‪@imadethis3853‬ for the intro remix.
Thanks to all members of Wardens of the Tor who I'm sure will enjoy beating the hell out of these gloves again now they are mended!

Well done for getting through this mate! Your right the thumbs are the hardest. I started from the thumb and finger tips and worked back. When I got to the knuckle plate I found that if you line up the male part so you can see it through the hole of the knuckle guard you can spin the female part with your thumb and screw it in part way enough for it to hold to then tighten it with a screwdriver. Took me over a week of trying a bit at a time so I didn't just bury then in the garden!
