I love these little "multi-tool" gadgets. I think I must have like, 50 of them by now, laying around the house. I have literally never used any one of them, for anything at all. Once in a while I just stumble across one again, open and close all the gadgets, thinking how cool it is. Then I just put it back down, grab my toolbox, and go fix stuff.
I'm sure the fan also cools the battery pack. But yeah, never a good idea putting lithium batteries near an open flame, even more so inside a unit that generates heat.
07:05 It very well may just be me but when you said features three lighting modes i thought you meant it can change from white, red and UV which certainly would have been impressive given the size of it. It comes in three different lighting modes.
I cannot in any fashion find a way to buy a FlameCube, does anyone have any links that work for it? You can donate to it with no return but I do not see any method to attempt to order it.
I'm sure it's a scam like the self-filling water bottle. I don't see how it can generate enough electricity from the heat to power the fans like they say it can while charging your phone at the same time.
@@johnree6106 I've seen some that are bigger, but they don't produce near enough power like this one claims to, they're talking about charging phones, running fans, etc. Dunno, I could be wrong.
0:47 Waterproof? To what depth? People get this confused all the time. If it's waterproof it has an immersion depth. If it's water RESISTANT, that means you can get it wet.
2:10 (Multi tool): Yes, but it lacks a dog whistle, an emergency use condom, an integral harmonica with fold-out jewish harp, an O2 rebreather, a magnesium stick, first aid kit, and the ability to handfire 7.62 NATO rounds, so what good is it ? Probably makes crappy press-pot coffee too. j/k
I'm so glad that, as a woman, I don't have to cook my food in the forest, get flat tires, or see in the dark! I'm so sorry that men have to deal with these issues. I don't know if my dainty woman hands could handle these manly tools even if I needed them. That's if I could even figure out how to work them with my tiny woman brain.
Some of those are too gadgety and are more novelty than actual tool. You can get 98% of things covered by having a Swiss Army knife, a lighter, small flashlight, and a good bit holder (with bits) on you. I have with me at all times: A Swiss Army Knife (the „Climber“ model) Olight Baton 4 BIC lighter Wera bit holder with PH1, PH2, TX20 and a flat head; the bits are stored inside the handle. Knipex Mini Kobra pliers This setup so far got me through everything I might need to do. In addition I also carry a small set of electronics screwdriver bits in a separate handle, since I work on electronics occasionally, which have some special screws. Sometimes I also carry other specialized tools that require some training, and therefore I am just skipping those.

You seem to know a little about sharpening stuff. I'm looking for something to sharpen wire snippers. I like to restore old tools and I tried dremels and other sharpeners but I can't get the whole blade sharp. I have a few different diamond hone products ordered but just figured I'd ask.
@@butter7734 sounds like you need a sharpening system that has a clamp to hold the blade with stones that mount on a rod and goes in an adjustable slide to ensure you have a precise angle. Lansky makes a "cheap" one for around $45-$50 for the "deluxe" sharpening system, but there are better and more expensive ones for doing scissors, cutters, etc.
@@edwardk6764 its more about access, I can't find something to fit the inside of the snippers because of space and what's happening is uninformed blade. I currently have a diamond hone one that you pull hopefully I could squeeze it into the narrowest part of the blade. Thanks for your input.
