The Fib with the smaller 582 engine is impossible to get into the air with 2 pax. On a calm lake surface the boat hull get sucked down to the water. My own experience in summer 2002.

in the time i flying my FIB Rotax 582 i change my wooden prop to ivoprop carbonfibre and i get much more speed on water
@@markettatony my engine was 503 and not 582 ! So I had only 48 hp and a wooden prop in sweden. A better prop and a 582 will fix that I guess.
