Nice chill hike with some beautiful natural features. Joe”s Hole 🕳️ very cool! I’m sure its best appreciated in person and is a worthy destination. Nice shirt BTW!
While pin pointing your location on GE, I noticed it was just south of the northern most section of The Old Spanish Trail that was first pioneered/explored by the Dominguez-Escalante Expedition and in use during the late 1700s and early 1800s between the Santa Fe region and the LA area in California. Your video shows a minor example of the barriers that were faced and a study of the trail history along with GE sure makes it easy to see why it went where it did. It's hard to imagine the hardships they endured trying to find a better path/route across that incredible part of our country. I've seen a decent amount of Utah in my day, but never cease to be amazed at what I've missed through videos like yours, thanks so much for your effort and for posting.
Very thoughtful comment. I have often found myself reflecting on the incredible resourcefulness of those who blazed trails in these parts so long ago, mind boggling...always my pleasure, Karl 👍!
Sometimes you just have to do the more difficult routes just for the fun of it! Easy can be boring and when you're out in places like this, you there, take advantage of the fun route. Obviously safety 1st.
Fabulous filming and editing. You are the best! You've had some amazing climbs this year. No snow, how fortunate for your adventures. It's been horrible in the Front Range. I'm wondering if we're even going to be able to get to the high places above 13,000 feet?
Honestly, often the real battle is below tree line where the snow never leaves. I'm always looking for a wind scoured ridge for my route above tree line if snow is an issue there. You can do iT!
I love your adventures, they inspires me…you are always very good prepared . I have a question about your backpack , I looking for something similar a specially with pockets in the front 😊. Could you share what brand is yours? ❤😊❤

Was pleasantly surprised too, Lynn. A lot of pretty cool things to do out there, for sure! Thanks, Karl 🤠

Mine is discontinued, it’ll take a good Amazon search. I love the front pockets!
